Like I said, there's a difference between "over it", and thinking Lebron's a swell guy, and hope he wins a lot of Championships. The Cavs have Kyrie Irving now, let's get more talent around him. There's still people who would like to see Kobe and Ben Rothlisberger in jail.

It's been 17 years, and I'm still not totally "over it" over Modell.

BTW, if the Heat win it's a pretty meaningless Championship- at least to me- playing with a stacked deck. So if they fall short this year, what's next? Bring Steve Nash and Dwight Howard along for the ride? (Kidding about Howard, but Nash may be willing to work cheap to get a ring.)

Dude, lebrons just some guy. I mean he is an actual superstar, but he's just a player who didnt want to play here. He didn't move the cavs to Miami. Let him go, and good riddance. He hurt his reputation with it, and he'll never ever be looked at like he used to be again. That's good enough for me, because he's clearly bothered by that.

Hurting his reputation is spare change to LeBron- he's already got more money than he can ever spend. What will really hurt him, and keep on hurting him- is missing out on a Championship- the major reason he left town.

You're still not getting it. Kobe Bryant is an actual superstar, and I don't like him either- I hope the Lakers lose every game. Just ditto that for LeBron.

I live in the dead middle of Cleveland near Tremont and Ohio city, and i goto alot of bars in the heights and i'll tell you right now everyone i know still says FUCK LEBRON with capital letters.

Everytime someone talks about not caring anyone etc. just bring up the decision on espn, the dancing, the disrespect, and the hipster shades with no lenses he wears.. he can eat a phat dick forever and hell no i wouldn't welcome him back.

Actually all that stuff is irrelevent. What is relevent is that he broke his solemn oath to "bring a championship" to my home town.

In Chivalric terms, nothing is more sacrosanct that the oath of a "King" to his people. And he was one of us. And nothing in life is more dishonorable than for a king to break his oath to his people.

He called himself "The Chosen One". OK, the "chosen one" to do what? To bring a championship to Cleveland/Akron. Not to bring one to Miami. They have Duane Wade and the Florida Marlins who did that.

Rant Ramble and Checkmate dawg, may the force be with you and all that shit that comes with it.

  • Come on OKC, you can come back down 3-1. Gipper, wheres your history of teams that have come back in the finals from 3-1 deficits.

  • In basketball, I believe its zero. Okc could be the first but it sure doesn't seem likely.

  • All i know is, Lebron has played his ass off this series. He will have earned everything he got. He brought them back against Indiana and Boston and has killed OKC. If u are a basketball fan, you realize its one of the best personal post seasons ever.

  • Alright I don't enjoy blaming refs but after that flargrent on Fisher, all I can say is fuck these refs. OKC got dicked in game 2, 4, and 5 by the refs. Fuck the Heat, fuck lebron, and fuck these shitty refs. I gotta give props to Battier, Chalmers, and Mike Miller for shooting the lights out. Every other Heat player can lick my right nut.

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • Move on.

  • Move on.

FU, that's exactly what LeBum did- after being the DeFacto GM of the Cavs his entire stay in Cleveland- getting his posse employed. You want this guy. DONE. You need a center. Shaq? Done. Shit on Cleveland on National TV, and walk away from the mess YOU created? Again- FU Traitor.

Do you have an 80' high poster outside your place of employment saying hey- we LOVE YOU? Don't think so. Sorry that wasn't good enough for LeBum.

Sorry LeBum- your Championship won't affect me at all. Too bad you only needed one other Superstar and a pretty good player to get it done. Don't forget to bring along Nash for the ride next year- just remember- as I'm sure you now realize- 10 in Miami doesn't equal one in Cleveland.

  • An open letter to LeBum.

Enjoy your Championship. You're a big enough asshole you should have no trouble shoving that trophy up your ass sideways.

    sincerely,

    Your pals in Cleveland.

  • I watched a lot of Cavs basketball in College and would have considered myself a Cavs fan during that time. You can't blame Lebron for leaving, but you CAN blame Dan Gilbert. Lebron needed help around him, every other superstar had a legit number 2 when they won a championship. Jordan had Pippin, Kobe had several and the list goes on and on and on. Gilbert brought Lebron a over the hill Shaq and Mo Williams. Is anyone surprised he left? Either way I'm sure it's upsetting to see Lebron win the title because Cleveland feels scorned but he earned that one and isn't the selfish individual he's made out to be. Dan Gilbert dropped the ball and you better hope he doesn't drop the ball with Irving or you're going to experience a repeat scenario.

  • Ooops I guess LeBron didn't fail...

  • I can't believe Scott Brooks got out coached by Eric fucking Spoelstra.

I think OKC's defensive strategy was absolutely awful.

They played horrible team D and defended Lebron like he was Michael Jordan and what happened?

He played like Magic Johnson, guess what Lebron doesn't want to play like Jordan he wants to play like Magic.

If they'd of manned up and shut down Miami's role players and forced Lebron to score he'd of eventually choked under the pressure.

The NBA of today is shit anyhow last time it was any good was in the early 90's

If fuckin Durant let a drop of sweat drip on someone he got called for a foul.

Really? Is it any wonder Danny Ferry left? LeBron told him who he wanted to play with, he told Gilbert to give his posse do-nothing jobs for big bucks. Nah- LeBum got his royal ass kissed from day 1 with the Cavs.

PS I just caught a whiff of the malodorous post Championship interview with LeBum, Wade, & Bosh on ESPN radio. "I'd rather win a ring with my pals than really have to try too hard."

Not only that- it's pretty obvious with 20\20 hindsight LeBum knew damn well he was outta town ASAP. But he strung Cleveland and the Cavs as long as possible with false hope- and totally screwed them in the process.

Did he have the right to leave? ABSOLUTELY. I daresay it would have been a tad different if LeBum had been from California. But he was one of us, the "Chosen One" that was going to win the city a Championship at long last. Too bad LeBum- you could have been the most beloved figure in the history of Cleveland sports. Another year or two, and you would have topped Kosar. Well, when the going got tough LeQuit got going- to Miami. He'll forever be Public Enemy #1B in Cleveland right behind Modell.

Wow..grow up and get over it...its a sport for god's sake. You act like he raped your dog. He was a kid. Influenced by his friends. He also was rich and irresponsible. Go figure. Gilbert was an adult acting more immature than him. And i'm pretty sure he's not too worried about being "Public Enemy #1B"...lol

  • Screw you guys I'm actually glad for lebron. No matter what he's still from here. I hope he is the next Jordan.

  • The haters will hate, he broke some hearts in Cleveland. With the way sports are now a days you have to take the money early then go to a contender later. My god who wouldnt want to play with Wade and for Pat Rielly. The Heat set themselfs up for many years to come. Until someone can D up Lebron he will impose his will. The Cavs were lucky ad shit to get the hometown hero anway, I just wish people would let it go and just be happy with what we have. One last thing, if Lebron had Jordans or Kobes killer instinct, then he would win 6 more rings. Looking forward to the NBA draft now!

He certainly imposed his will in the playoffs, against both the Celtics and then the Thunder. As far as what you said Hoorta you can say what you want about Lebron and Dan Gilbert and the so called ass kissing. (I have little doubt his ass was kissed plenty) However when Lebron said I need some help he brought him over the hill shaq and Mo Williams. No matter how you shake it Gilbert dropped the ball and then acted like a child. If you have a player like Lebron you do everything in your power to help him win. He couldn't do it on his own so he left for Miami and got his championship. Superstar players do it all the time and of those that stick around, they have the confidence in their ownership group and their GM to get it done. Gilbert fumbled and Lebron left.
