oh lookie here....do we possibly have a stooler troll that knows not of what he speaks?

    http://www.steelersdepot.com/2012/05/steelers-figure-to-have-david-decastro-under-contract-soon/

there's lots more info....but despite what homo thinks he knows, decastro seems to be waiting for weeden to finish up his contract so he can know what to ask for. huh....

now please...are you gonna continue to contend that decastro isn't "holding out"? or you just gonna keep that head int he sand?

DeCastro isn't signing and of course he's waiting, so is Reiff. I posted this thread because the article I read mentioned that Weeden was going to HOLD OUT unless his 4th year is guaranteed. Personally I couldn't care less if the guy holds out but was curious about what the board here thought about it. It's a slow time in the off season and I was curious. YOu all act as if I enjoy the company here, as I've said previously I'm here for INTER DIVISION news. I read on the Bengals board and the Ravens board as well, they just aren't as obsessed with the Steelers so I post a lot less and read a good bit more.

Some of you are so ridiculously insecure that no matter what is posted by someone from the Steeler base it HAS to have some sort of Steelers vs Browns angle. I didn't bring up DeCasto because he's doing what I expect him to do. I mentioned Weeden because he wants his 4th year guaranteed which ISN'T something most teams give for picks selected late in the first round. I also brought it up because Weeden is OLDER. DeCastro will sign when Weeden and Reiff sign and hell if the Browns guarantee that 4th year for Weeden maybe the same will happen with DeCastro and Reiff.

It is all a game of dominoes....or chicken. A game of who blinks first. Which draft choice down the line will accept a contract in which the 4th year is not guaranteed. If one of the guys that preceded BW3 in the draft takes a K with a non-guaranteed 4th year, then BW3 will have to bite the bullet and do so. If the guy in front of him DOES get a guaranteed 4th year, I believe that is Kendell Wright and the guy the Pats picked...then is when your fun can begin...and you can see if BW3 holds out for that 4th year.

If BW3 and the guys behind him all get guaranteed 4th years, including up to the guy that preceded DeCastro....then it will be a game of chicken for DeCastro.....and it may be HE who may be the one to perhaps hold out for that 4th year.

So maybe your thread should read "DeCastro Holding Out"....because it may be up to him.

  • hey at least we didn't pick tannehill..........

  • You read other teams news through an entirely different prism than you read your own.

That we've pointed out and proved your boy is doing the same fucking thing hasnt changed your tune, rather your trapped in a corner getting poked with a stick and defensive.

Either admit or accept it. Youve no leg to stand on.

That is looking more and more like a wasted pick from the Dolphins. Using a top ten pick on a position as important as the QB, only to have him (by all accounts) be the worst QB by far on their roster.

If they were going to take him, they should have traded back.

  • Lol....yeah....id have been real nervous taking weeden at 8, let alone tanny.

Been trying to tune out, so im not really sure who has or hasnt signed....doesnt matter at this point. Summer is hot, plants and garden need water, visiting friends and family, barbeque and beers by the fire. The fluff articles and legions of writers plastering opinions and other garbage to stir the pot arent getting any more of my time.

Otas and minicamps are over.....they were fun, but training camp os roght around the corner to give us real shit to talk about other than " this one article i read said".....

    🙂

i don't even know why they drafted a qb at all. moore had decent numbers and garrard is a proven qb in this league. sure everyone wants to catch lightning in a bottle and be the GM who makes that awesome pick of the next manning etc. that high of a pick could have meant so much more on a team (like us) who just keeps spinning the wheels. of course that's not to say that tannehill or weeden won't turn out to be good players but these fucking guys that just have to keep picking qbs every fucking year while they need other positions filled is beyond inconceivable to me.

the dolphins and browns have sooo much in common it sickens me. a carousel operating on corners of the field. one for coaches. one for qbs. one for GMs and one for 'star' players.

and look at what they've done, if anything in the past 30 years.

Maybe they plan on using him at receiver 🤔

I just think a few of you are a few rolls short of a bakers dozen. It has nothing to do with me.

  • The fact that you are the one thinking it, puts it all on you.😒

Did the Steelers sign that lineman they drafted yet? I honestly don't know because no one talks about the 50th pick. He must be holding out...

Yeah, DeCastro signed. It's down to five left- and I won't spoil the fun but it isn't hard to guess who's one of them. 🙂Unsigned First round picks

Not that I mind busting the balls of any Steeler player, but DeCastro did go to Stanford which may be one of the top 5-10 academic colleges in the land, so lets just say he looks nerdy for a football player, not Retarded.

If there is a Steeler OL that may go bust it will more likely be Mike Adams.

The reason he went to Stanford is because they have a special progam for Retards.
