So, I've talked to some friends I have who have links to mental health experts (psychiatrist's) who think his body language and head and eye movement are schizophrenic. I asked them could he be faking? They said no. I know that schizophrenia happens to people typically in their mid 20's, so this is a possibility. However, the military side of me thinks this is just a PHd smart kid trying to pull an insanity defense. What do you all think?

I think the guy might pull off the insanity defense. Clearly, something wasn't right. The dude was a great student at UC-Riverside, then dropped out of the Ph.D. program at Colorado. People that talented don't just drop out of programs like that without seeking help. I think the guy's got some sort of mental illness (not that I'm qualified to say any of that). But just compare the this guy's case to Breveik. Has a motive even been established?

I guess his motive could be to be incarcerated in a mental institution vice a prison. Who knows what someone who is mentally ill thinks, or their reasons. I don't really think he is faking, I'm sure he has a mental illness. But I also think that he is smart enough to know better.

How many people smoke pot in this country? What is it like 50 million that have tried, or currently smoke? As I've said, I've worked in a lot of bars and night clubs in this area as a DJ, and I can tell you alcohol causes way more violent tendencies and aggression than marijuana! Hell go to a freakin' BROWNS game for cryin' out loud! How many fights in the stands or in the parking lots are the result of too much alcohol? But as the "Reefer Madness" crowd will say... "B-B-B-But alcohol is legal!" Give me a break!
