  • Did anyone think Detriot clearly dominated Cleveland? when it comes to our starters for that game?

    I keep reading articles that say shit like this "Truthfully, though, the Lions dominated the game. What happened is, as the game went on, the Browns' backups outplayed the Lions' backups, allowing Cleveland to win the game -- yet Detroit was clearly the superior team." Michael Lombardi.

    Detriot in my own opinion didn't dominate shit when it was our 1's vs their 1's for a Preseason game it was whatever, i just hate when national media members are fag haters when it comes to our team doing anything posistive.

    In Cleveland failure is an artform.

  • Well Stafford didn't really look significantly better than Weeden if that's what you mean. He threw for 5000+ last year so I wouldn't get too excited about it yet. Their second stringers tore us up though.

    The Browns have become a joke in the NFL. Sad but true. They will have to win and keep winning to earn any respect. One winning season won't do it at this point. Three winning seasons minimum to get any respect and then they'll still be the butt of jokes until they win a super bowl.

    Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...

  • Same way the national media has a boner for how Tebow played when in reality he did mediocre against 2nd string defense.

  • Agreed. We made mistakes. They didn't dominate. Truth is by the fourth quarter they were like 2 for 10 on 3rd down conversions while we were 1 for 8. The only difference is that they were able to run on us cause we started 2 rookies at DT a rookie at DE and one at ILB. We still managed to stall drives when we needed to.

  • Amen on the Tim Tebow comment. Man is he over-rated. He's a hard core member of the SuxMuch club. He does draw the psuedo-Christians though. You can't deny his fame. I was interested in the reports that occured about 6-8 weeks after he got traded to the Jets. I heard he had gained 20 pounds since transferring. Supposedly all muscle. Is that even possible? ...cough, cough, steroids, cough, cough.

    Still, it's a little sad how quickly the religious right will embrace someone without any substance proven. Next we will hear "My crack dealer believes in traditional marriage. He's a family values guy"; "Our abortionist goes to church faithfully and won't work on the Sabath. He's a role model".
