  • True. I shouldn't paint all liberals with the same brush.

I should have referred to the obamao buck woman,

and the entitlement subculture of progressives/democrats/marxists/who cares people.

But even liberals have to admit, Obamao himself, and biden, and Holder, have severely damanged their base.

  • I agree with you Cysco. But remember too that an awful lot of the super rich, including the movers and shakers in the banking industry, seemed like they got a sweet bailout deal no?

Those might be called obama bucks too!

But sure, we go off the deep end.

    WSS

Yes I'm sure many of the super rich got bail out money and also stimulus money. But we have no way of knowing what their personal political stances are. Didn't Paul Ryan get some Obama. Bucks for those energy companies?

  • GM. Obamao bucks...

    Solyndra. Obamao bucks.

    Mortgage bailout. Obamao bucks.

Refusal to enforce laws he doesn't like (marxist dirtbag),

and implements laws that Congress would never pass (fascist)..

and openly knee jerk sides with the leftist black community when the facts are in. (racist inciter)

and intimidates that company from opening a new factory in S. Carolina - the sole reason being that it's a right to work state... (union benefit for votes)..

says Romney wants to put black people back into chains

tells Russia Mendelev whatever that "he will have more options after the election"

I wish some lib would man up and discuss that last one.

Come on Cal. Of course he'd have more options after the election. You don't think Ronald Reagan minded his p's and q's on the election trail? How about Dick Nixon? Couldn't you imagine him saying that?

but vapor - maybe your conservative friends think the bible belt faction also have "closeted public disclosure types " not on the fringe as you say, that are willing to stand up, at least with thier votes and join the tea party? I think all you have to do is look at the Chic fila deal.

I dont think the tea party is all that you hear about as being militantly religious... I agree w/ WSS as being a media slant , and smear job.

Whether or not its a smear job its hurting the overall perception of the republican party way more than the occupy movement is hurting the democratic party. It would probably help mitt romney a lot more if they disbanded and reformed as something else with less sensationalism already attached to it.

the irony of course is what social conservatives are believing about the democrats and " its demonizing " traits - the occupiers, the LGBT, the social and leftist elite -

but really dont need anymore help damaging its own said perceptions due to its clown prince Obama.and doofus Biden... just sayin

Tv is god in this country. The people will do what tv tells them. Why else would everyone advertise on television instead of thousands of billboards? I'm not suggesting that occupiers are better than tea partiers, far from it. I'm saying they are hurting their respective party more. If its because of TVs liberal agenda, then it is.

Also don't forget that Bush's administration damaged the republican partys reputation to the point where Barack Obama won the election by a huge margin. No need to recount that. It wasn't even close. Maybe Baracks administration will accomplish that as well. I think they probably will...in 2016.

  • No. Bush didn't damage the Republican party.

He took action against enemies who murdered so many

of our fellow Americans and tourists on 9/11.

Action to go to war is always unpopular. Especially

when it is unwarranted, and fraud.

Iraq and Afghanistan were not, except for the fraud

by the CIA about wmd, which Bush, and many, many prominent Dems and Reps

    in Congress believed.

LBJ was totally unwarranted in going into Vietnam. He didn't hurt his democratic party.

The American people were ready for a change after that.

And Bush didn't run against Obamao. He ran against a wishy washy, weak and boring Rep nominee

got the nomination, which I knew was a big mistake. I campaigned for Bush twice, and proud he won

and was pres for 4 years. But it's silly to label the left's screaming hysteria and hatred for Bush and Cheney

    with "universal" hatred.

The left and the media just made it sound that way.

He was president for 8 years cal. As Obama will likely be. If john mccain was a weak candidate, Mitt Romney is even weaker as evidenced by his failure to secure the republican nomination in 2008. I don't know why you'd expect him to win now.

  • Well, the #1 concern of Americans is...

the runaway budget, completely out of control runaway train toward explosives

    on a fiscal bridge.

well, I hope that doesn't get me on a no fly list....@@, but it's my fiscal analogy, ya?

    And, Paul Ryan.
