Similarities Between Cleveland And Gb

The Browns Board

  • I never really noticed the similarities between Green Bay and Cleveland before.

Aesthetically, we're very similar. Both teams are very minimalistic. Take away the iconic "G" on the Packers helmet and the jersey/helmet scheme is nearly identical. The striped sleeves, the stripe down the center of the helmet, the stripe down the side of the pants...very similar.

Personnel-wise, we have many ties. We have Holmgren, obviously.

We have Evan Moore and Brandon Jackson.

They have Graham Harrell, who we had in camp a couple times.

Colt McCoy will end up on the Packers this season.

We run similar West Coast schemes, although they run theirs much better.

EDIT: Also the Clay Matthews connection.

Cleveland is bizarro-Green Bay. It's like big brother and little brother, where one brother is an MVP in everything and the little one tries to follow in his footsteps but always fails.

  • Post of the year?

  • Also, Clay Matthews

  • Cromwell, rhodes, another assistant and another FO guy, vp of football operations.

  • Also, we will have similiar records this year. The Packers will be 14-2, and we'll probably be 2-14.

  • For all the bitching about our poor depth, our youth movement and bubble guys ran over GBs like a freight train. That team moves to the speed of rogers much like the colts with manning.

Not to mention that my wife is from Wisconsin. Does that count?
