I have my CCW certificate ! Great class, especially when your instructor can tell stories

about being in the Special Forces.

I was really nailing the target bullseye at the gun range to qualify - but on my second magazine,

...forgot I wasn't shooting my revolver, and had my bracing hand's thumb up just under the slide.

Heh...got slightly grazed. Didn't get teased too bad on that one.

12 hours straight class, with 2 hours gun range. Like everybody else,

hope I never have to use it in the next hundred years. Won't be so afraid at a lonely

rest area some night on traveling in and out of state. But my wife wants one that doesn't kick

as much as the 9mm. She's an excellent shot, btw..... Last week, we went out shooting out back,

and I couldn't hit a big white plastic jug at 20? whatever yards for nothin. She did, though. Twice, in 10 shots. dangit.

Now, I can put in my app and get my CCW license ! The man running for sheriff wants to expand the approval staff,

and cut the time (about two weeks) to process the licenses. Very cool. And in time for hunting season.

The ban came from headquarters, not from me personally.

I'm not sure if these 2 guys are bunker or just guys from E C.net who got booted from there.
