No, but if don't shut the fuck up I am going to post picturs of you on the sidelines with your hand in Shurmurs pants. Do you play pool with those hands, Eddie? Shame on you! LMAO.

You have no such pictures. But do I have pictures of your girlfriend having her snapper waxed? You even invited me.

  • If he is ready,,,,,you play him

It's not like he has a sore throat or anything.

  • Trent was NEVER injured... ever. The "injury" he had surgery on happened BEFORE he "single legedly" won the BCS Championship game. Trent was not being treated for an "injury" this time. All they did was clean up the knee to keep it in tip top preforming shape... Trent is probably better NOW than he has been since the Bowl Game.. Trent will run like a Gazelle and hit like an OX. Philly will be shocked and awed by the level of talent attacking them on the jaw week 1.

169 yards rushing, three TDs on the Ground

92 yards receiving and another TD from the screen pass.

Are you for real or a troll.....Seriously?

  • Watching the Alabama game I'm really wondering if Jim Brown was right...heck every single back is getting 10 yards per carry. Even the rookie RB is over 100 yards and that is platooning with 3 other backs. I wonder if Heckert and Andy actually made a deal to pick up Bryce Brown for the Browns just in case Trent doesn't pan out. It's pretty certain that Bryce will be the better player at this point in their NFL careers.

  • You play "The Hulk in the Hoodie" and The Cleveland Browns win game one.

    1 - 0!!!

  • We don't have the information to even guess if Trent should play. I thinkin he might see a few plays maybe.

The idea that Jim Brown may be right? that's bs. The power that TR has shown in the weight lifting, while

still maintaining his incredibie agility for such a powerful rb?

Come on - he's a special kind of rb.

I would wait for him to have a whole week of practice before starting him.

    GOOD NEWS

Hopefully after the practice (s) this week there will be no lingering issues

and he will be available for Sunday.

Looks like this kid is gonna be something special

  • Ok. After a shitty preseason, this news actually has me excited again.

If projections of Trent are true, this team is going to look completely different come Sunday

  • To quote the Smashing Pumpkins: "Today is the greatest day I've ever known."

  • good to see the young man should have no lasting effects. good luck trent (against everyone save the Steelers), hope you have a productive career.

Iverson? I actually think he was some sort of art major.

Optimistic Browns RB Trent Richardson is anxious 'to take a hit and give a hit'

    Sep 05, 2012 -- 4:32pm

    By Tony Grossi

    Extra Points …

Full speed ahead: Everything’s looking good for Browns running back Trent Richardson to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

At this point, after two practices, he said the only thing that could keep him out is a coach’s decision.

“Really, I think coach knows best, as far as me having a good career and stuff like that, so if he doesn’t feel I’m ready, that will be the only thing that would keep me out,” Richardson said after Wednesday’s practice. “Other than that, mentally, I’m ready to go.”

Coach Pat Shurmur said at the beginning of the week that if Richardson checks out fine through the week, he will start the game. Prior to Wednesday’s practice, Shurmur said, “He looks great.”

A proactive measure: Richardson had a loose particle removed from his left knee by noted sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews on Aug. 9. He said this procedure was unrelated to the arthroscopic surgery on the same knee on Feb. 3 to repair a torn meniscus cartilage, which was injured in Alabama’s national championship victory, Richardson’s final college appearance.

Richardson first felt a little pain during a Browns practice on Aug. 7. He said there was no incident that caused the pain, no blow to the knee or cut on the field.

“Really I was just kind of feeling like a nick,” he said. “I was still running full speed. I could’ve played the first preseason game. Coach was like, ‘We have to check it out. You better get it done now instead of during the season.’ It was not a hit. Just something that happened over time.”

After an MRI, Richardson was sent home to have the procedure done by Andrews, who also performed surgeries on both his ankles his freshman and sophomore years in high school. Richardson is not worried about the effects of two procedures in six months on the same knee.

“There’s nothing to worry me at all,” Richardson said. “I’m very confident in my knee. I try to be 110 percent in whatever I do. Coach is going to put me in the right situation. Our trainers and medical staff, they’re doing everything they can to have me at 120 percent, not 110 percent. I can tell a big difference now. It’s not going to give me any problems down the line.

“I’ve got fresh legs. I’m ready to go.”

Team player all the way: Richardson has overcome so much in his life and on the field that he said he never was worried about the surgery affecting his career.

“It’s just a minor setback for a major comeback,” he said. “That’s how I look it. I don’t look at it as being a downer. God put me in situations because He knows I can fight through it. He won’t put me in nothing I can’t bear.”

What was hard for him was the lonely feeling that comes from being separated from his new teammates. He is so eager to make an impact on the Browns immediately and profoundly.

“I can’t stand watching preseason games without being out there,” he said. “It’s been a long time since I’ve touched a football. I’ve got to make sure I’m part of this team. I’ve got to get on that field and contribute to this team. Just watching, I was very antsy. Just had to take that time and realize this might be the best thing for my career to get my leg right.”

Richardson said he’ll be fine however Shurmur elects to use him. “Hopefully I get in there and there’s no limit. But if there is, I’ll still play every play like it’s my last,” he said.

He doesn’t think conditioning will be a problem for him. He’s anxious “to take a hit and give a hit.”

And if he could write the script for his first NFL game in Cleveland Browns Stadium?

“Browns win,” he said. “That’s the only thing I can say. Browns win. We come out victorious. Everybody’s injury free, and we come out victorious.”
