Letting Vickers go was the mistake I wish they had not made. But yes, I think Marecic may not actually see this season out.
He can't block, so he makes up for it by not being able to catch.

Pat...ok, put Owen on the practice squad for a game call up Smelley and if Smelley doesn't catch the ball better than Owen and if Trent doesn't run for at least 99 yards then fine I lose and will donate 25k to the charity of your choice. If Smelley catches and blocks better than Owen then I will still put 25k into the charity of your choice...it's a win win Pat...do the right thing Pat put Smelley in and let Owen go, what do you have to lose?
