One Year After Dadt Repeal
-
the study from UCLA can be taken as a campaign aid for the call of all LGBT to get out the vote.
Well good for them... not everyone will take this 1 year anniversary of the removal of DADT and the so called findings of this study to be entirely and completely factual from a duly noted liberal think tank...
"Researchers began their study by contacting 553 of those 1,167 retired generals and admirals. Of those 553 contacted, 13 participated in the study. Researchers also conducted interviews with other opponents and dozens of active-duty servicemembers"
only 13? and other opponents how many? and dozens ..... how many dozens? kinda blurry dont you think?...
How about an internal military review? I would rather believe that .....
and cant say much for that sarcastic homophobe swipe on those who are opposed here- vapor and heck.... but you can say whatever you want.

Internal military review? Oh, you mean like the one they did in May?

The repeal of the law banning gay and lesbian people from open military service took effect Sept. 20, 2011. The secretary [Panetta] said he received the report on repeal implementation yesterday, and it shows repeal is going “very well” and according to the department’s plans.
“It's not impacting on morale. It's not impacting on unit cohesion. It is not impacting on readiness,” he said.
Panetta said he credits military leaders for effective repeal planning.
“Very frankly, my view is that the military has kind of moved beyond it,” he said. “It's become part and parcel of what they've accepted within the military.”
During the same conference, Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said he has not seen “any negative effect on good order and discipline” resulting from the repeal.
But yeah, what would these guys know? Closet cocksuckers, right?
-
I wouldnt say closet cocksuckers like you just did, but they are party line guys right? they do and say as they are told.....
Panetta and joint Chief of staff General Dempsey used what amounts to commentary.
How about effects on the outed gays / lesbians...? (no mention of any Bi's and/or transgenders yet)
consider the experiment Obama in helping the LGBT by eliminating dadt, the backlash against them is happening in small measures, mainly in outward expressions of the gay love ...
meaning they cannot cuddle, kiss and more (?) in the public arena of official military functions. keep it behind closed doors....
It seems that it will be a distraction in time.... 1 year though? wait for it......

There isn't any that I know of. The dog ugliest girls I've ever seen go to the military to find a man. With that ratio you can't lose. The only rules I know of concern fraternization. Officers and enlisted.

FairHooker had a very excellent post here, don't want it to be missed:

Well of course most of them aren't going to talk about it. They were proven wrong. People who get to be officers in the military don't like being wrong.
-
"Wrong" in the interim doesn't mean wrong in the long term.
And the long term damage is what is the issue.

You've never been in the military. "Appears" is meaningless.
My "appears" is opposite, and not nearly as valid as Diehard's, and
and other guys, like Canton Mike, who saw actual combat and stuff.
You haven't even lived life out of school yet.

Of which, there appears to be none.
1 year.....

1 year.....
I wasn't aware there was a 1 year moratorium on drawing conclusions from existing data.

"dammit, I planted this tree, and it hasn't grown much and it's been a whole year. may as well pull it back out of the ground.
It will never grow any bigger in the coming five years"
real scientific. "sigh"

Woody would never make it thru basic training with his girly smart ass mouth. Nobody like dishonorable people not even the military would not put up with his shit for brains. I could see his whole platoon turning on him fast.

I know you weren't in the military bunker. Don't try to pretend you were. I find that reprehensible.

I'd be engineering stuff for the military... hopefully
