Greg Little Is Not Very Good At All
-
Surprised he wasn't dancing after blowing that touchdown, but then there he is sitting there laughing on the bench. Perma-bench this bum.
-
Thread says it all. How many drops is he going to give up before we as an organization realize he mentally doesn't have it. Crapping the bed every single game is not going to get it done.
-
I am fed up with his antics.
He's clearly only worried about himself and his image.
-
Clearly the coach was trying to cheer him up. He looks miserable on the sideline. Only time he was laughing was when the coach was trying to console him. He made a few good catches tonight so at least there was progress tonight.
-
I think he caught 2 balls and dropped 3...

Two things. First, he now has 13 drops through 4 games. Seriously, wrap your head around that for a second. That's a crappy stat for a season, yet alone 4 games down.
You hit the nail on the head my man. When I saw Little laughing it up and getting dap from the coach I was so angry I woke up my mom and my brother, and I rarely if ever get mad over the team anymore. It just furthers my belief that Shurmer and this crew are the worst coaching staff the browns have had in recent history. If I'm Shurmer I'm ripping his tits and benching his ass the rest of the game. If he has any balls, Little won't see a single snap next Sunday. Hell, I'd rather see the practice squad WR's have a chance over this pre-madona clown. He's a shittier, less athletic Braylon Edwards.
-
Little doesn't have 13 drops. The team had 11 total before this game. You added Little's drops tonight to the team total. He probably has 5 or 6. Still not good, but he doesn't have 13 drops.

I'll count three. And you can correct me if I'm wrong. First was a perfectly thrown pass from Weeden that would have resulted in a first down. Richardson got stuffed on second and ten, then incomplete pass. Drive killer.
Then we have the two passes in the end zone- you tell me a guy like Fitzgerald wouldn't have snagged at least ONE of them? Take a seat Butterfingers- until you learn how to hang onto the damn ball. Travis Benjamin is going to pass you on the depth chart like you're standing still.

1. Little was really down on the sidelines. He was "smiling" because a coach was cheering him up.
2. Little nearly made a gigantic play for TD. Well up into the air, got his hands on it, with a defender right there...yes, didn't catch it.
3. On Weeden's overthrow in the last second of the game.....Little nearly jumped 6 feet into the air (seemed like...) to try to get to it.
4. Jerry Rice used to drop passes. He worked on that by catching a lot of balls ....
This offense has some serious kickass to it. Little disappoints...well, so did Norwood.
These kids make this offense very, very young, but very talented.
Weeden says he was damn proud of the guys on the team, said they were all really close,
and they really wanted it.
It will come. Weeden also said, he told the offense that he gave the ratbirds seven, but they still
went after it...
Growing pains. If Little doesn't fix it though, I can see him eventually losing his starter status.
It won't be after only his fourth game of the season. You don't see the ratbirds trying to use
Terrell Smith like the Browns need to use Little, he's a second year player too.
I see huge, huge improvement in the offense. Hopefully, next week we see more of it.
-
Yeah but could you imagine Colt trying to throw for 300+ yards in the rain with pressure in his face all game?
-
In the very little defense of Little, there was very little hope in catching that last ball thrown by Weeds into the end zone. For a second I thought he was trying to throw a field goal. Weeds still has some inaccuracies to correct

I think Braylon Edwards is available, isn't he? Hell, maybe we would be better off with him back here.
(err, no, not really, see how your thinking can get clouded over these things.)

He's in Seattle, so your sarcasm isnt even valid...

I actually really liked Braylon, and still do... It's weird I know.

He let a TD go right through his hands and he was literally laughing not "smiling", fuck cheering him up he needs motivated not consoled.

See number 1
3. On Weeden's overthrow in the last second of the game.....Little nearly jumped 6 feet into the air (seemed like...) to try to get to it.
This post was made before the end of the game and Brandon Weeden is a monster
4. Jerry Rice used to drop passes. He worked on that by catching a lot of balls ....
Comparing Little to Jerry Rice....LOL
This offense has some serious kickass to it. Little disappoints...well, so did Norwood.
If Little wasn't doing fucking dances after 7 yard receptions when down 2 possessions I wouldn't even have a problem with him. He's young, he drops passes, I get it. Its his attitude I have an issue with. T-Rich scores a touchdown and what does he do? Barely celebrates and gets back to the sideline to work on the gameplan for the next one. I like that. Also I was pretty drunk when I made this thread, I don't actually hate any Browns player but Little really does bother me most the time.

I'm not sure why they don't elect to bring cooper up? He's not very good (none of the recievers are) but weeden undoubtably has some chemistry with him.

Gordon will eventually pass him up. When a real coach is in charge and Gordon gets a little more experience, it'll happen.
All the talent in the world doesn't matter if you can't catch the football. ESPECIALLY in the goddamn end zone.
Gordon is still way too raw to be a #1

the team showed marked improvement everywhere last night. there are still 3 glaring fuckups that need to be addressed.
one is little catching the ball. yes he has talent but i'd keep him out on the practice field till midnight trying to catch tennis balls from c.c. sabathia.
two. there are too many plays where the defenders are in our offensive backfield when the ball is snapped. either someone is not doing their job or the wrong plays are being called....?
third. weeden needs to stop telegraphing his throws. i mean everyone in the stadium knew he was going to throw that sideline screen, so it was no mystery to the CB who just danced into the endzone for a TD.
shoulda woulda coulda. without little's drop in the endzone and weeden's pick six we would have won that game. we should be at least 3 and 1 right now.

Better yet. Make Little carry one of those "life-like" babies around for a week. You know, the ones that cry, need to be fed, need to be rocked, need to be changed.
The coaches should say that if he drops a pass during the week he must carry that baby thing. How soon do you think he will stop dropping passes?

I think that will just take experience. Even Elway/Manning etc. most great QBs had that problem their first year or two.
