I love when people say you must be young because you want change. Let me guess you still have a pager because you like old things. There is nothing wrong with change at ALL. I am not saying change the colors or even the helmet. How about add a color or change the shadewof the color.

Yes the NFL is about MONEY just like everything else!!! So if its about money you market towards people who buy jerseys and hats. Who buys these things the 15-30 yrs olds!!!!

The Cleveland Browns named after Paul Brown has moved. The Soul(Paul Brown) moved to Cincinnati and became the Bengals. The Body(The Team/People) left to Baltimore leaving the obituary page in Cleveland. What came back was a sheep in dogs clothing. They have inherited the history that belongs to somebody else but they are now part of our Citys family. And they are us.

Will anyone have a problem if it was the NY Giants who moved here and won two superbowls as the Cleveland Giants? I bet we wont have any trouble with a winner if they won instead of supporting a team struggling to have a winning record. So, I dont see any problem with what the name of the team is.

First off, you are double fucking dumbass wrong about the "Soul" and The Body. We fans are the Soul and the City of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio is The Body.

That history doesn't belong to any other motherfuckers on earth than us.

The third question of this poll is stupid, I'm a Cleveland Browns fan. Not just a Cleveland Fan, or a Browns fan. A Cleveland Browns Fan. But you didn't put that choice in there. If they moved to another city and were still called the Browns, I wouldn't watch them. I doubt many people in LA follow the St. Louis Rams, or in St. Louis following the Arizona Cardinals. And I highly doubt any sucker in Baltiwhore is following the Indianapolis Colts.

Exactly... Question 3 kept me from registering my opposition to both Uniform and name change. I see I am not alone and that means any results for Q's 1 and 2 are skewed.

Born and raised in Akron area. A new name and costumes wouldn't kill me. I just want to have a competent coaching staff, players who can and want to play and an owner who gives a shit. Having my Browns jersey on nowadays is like having a yellow Alfred E Newman tee shirt that reads "What? Me Worry" on. People look and laugh and all I can do is laugh with them. I still wear it though.

I like those jersey's but I'd go with box numbers,Brown on Browns looks good, just not feeling the orange helmets, yeah I know it's sacrilege.

I'd go with a variation of this helmet.

And slap the Browns Dawg on it, modern,stylish and bad ass.

A lot of teams now have color combinations that one would never have expected, even though the base colors are still intanct. The Ravens and Cardinals sporting black jerseys for one, is an out-of-the-box comibation, even though it is perfectly in line with their original scheme.

With the Browns the biggest opportunity for color change on the helmet is obviously the dramatic reductions of orange and the increased use of Brown and white. Logically, with Brown isnot a very attractive and flashy color, the greatly increased use of white on the helmet is a logical option, and one which I would like to see.

I so dig the cards black uni, saw them for the 1st time a week or two ago and thought they were very tough lookin. As for our uniforms, idk how i would feel about a dramatic change. Some tweaks or a more "modern" looking uni wouldnt be so bad i guess. As for the white helmets go, if a white helmet was used in an alternate uniform package, i think id be ok with it. Maybe white helmet, orange jersey with either brown or white pants.

I like the helmet above with the 33 on it. If they were going to make a change to the helmet, i'd rather them put the #s on it rather than some logo. Maybe put a small logo on the back next to the stripe. Preferably the elf.
