Anyone For A Bet?

  • I have no idea how this is going to turn out. I'd gotten used to listening to Tupa and my other number-crunching friends telling me that none of this campaign stuff matters and that the larger trends ensure the president's re-election. And then we had the first debate, which changed everything.

Obama looks okay in some swing state polls, and the national ones look better today, but I don't think anyone is confident. Romney seems to have broken through his ceiling and re-invented the perceptions of him. It's anyone's game.

  • As long as it's not another Bush/Gore recount. I think it is going to be very close voter wise, but well see how FL/OH/MI/WI and PA go.

  • I think you may well see Obama win the electoral college but lose the popular vote.

  • Fisher House for military families?

  • Yep.

  • I'll bet you a strawpenny Obama wins and bunker kills himself.

  • We'll reconvene when he accepts the legitimacy of paper currency. heckbunker

Your phoney magic president is making our currency value plummet in the future.

    Weimar Republic.

If I were a liberalprogressiveselfinterestfool, I'd be glad, because

instead of selling a loaf of bread for a wheelbarrow of money....

I could sell eggs for 40 bucks a dozen.

    I'd rather Romney win.

(no wonder heckbunker wants to bet currency - ObaMAO is going to make it worth little)

  • The only you bet can be sure of is that Romney will be able to grow our economy and get jobs for the 23 million unemployed.

That's because you are still a kid in school. Wait until you graduate. Things may not always be as rosey grasshopper.

Like I said to my 19 year old sister that is also an Obama voter: when you've got no problems it doesn't matter to you if they get fixed.

  • Who said I was an Obama voter? I don't even think I registered lol.

no you're right, I said I'd vote for Obama between the two

I have my own problems to worry about, whether you think they are important or not idc

I've had about a dozen interviews so far and I've received a couple offers. These are co-ops and internships, but I'm definitely not worried about my full time job prospects.

I'm getting advanced education in a degree people want to hire right now, I'll be good.

Anything can happen, but there is actually a need for engineers put there. It really helps I'm getting a legitimate degree

Yep pretty much. I forgot to do it and the school started.

  • They really need to start making registration available online. Seriously, I always forget until October, panic that I forgot, then send in my registration.

  • Nobody wants a bet? Come on. It's for a good cause.

Honestly, I have no clear sense who is going to win.
