Lol he decided to start Brady Quinn this week over Matt Cassell. Hey Cassell was not that great but really Brady Quinn. Haven't we all seen what he can do? This seals it for me, Romeo IS back in the running again for the worst coach the Browns ever had.

He's got to get in line right behind Shurmer. Shurmer is way worse then Romeo

I disagree. The team under Romeo was a travesty. They had no cohesion, toughness, or discipline on the field and they didn't produce shit besides the DA year. Romeo had no control of that team and stated so every press conference.

Shurmur has these guys playing well and actually improving. He just makes some boneheaded play calls along the way that nearly undo a game full of hard work.

  • You see how hot Brady is????

  • When you are 1 - 5 and Cassell's play has really regressed. So I see no harm in starting BQ who many are saying has improved. What do they have to lose? If BQ fails then they draft a new QB next year. 2007 was a fluke only cos DA was lucky. We did have legit WR and TE threats that year. Had we gone into 2008 with a more stable QB who knew what he was doing we would have been better than 4 - 12 and with something to build on for next year.

WHAT???????? When has a Shurmer showed ANY toughness? or disipline? Shurmer has 2 peanlties called against HIMSELF. As bad as Romeo was, he never got a penalty called against HIMSELF.

Shurmer calls TO on 4th and 1 and THEN punts. He aslo calls TO when the other team is 4th and 1 on THEIR OWN 27 and after the TO the team STILL jumps offsides...........And this is just 2 plays from the last game

Im not disagreeing. I am saying romeo was worse. We were never in games by the fourth quarter and the team had no idea what was going on and neither did crennelephant. He was in farther over his head than any coach I have ever seen.

  • Is this how far we have sunk? We are arguing about which was worse, the team now or under Crennel. I can't read this sh!t anymore.

Shurmur seems to have the Browns prepared for games. The "coaching" aspect doesn't seem to be that bad. His major downfall is having no balls to go for it on 4th down and he has to have the worst time management skills of any coach I have ever seen..
