If Obama Wins On Tuesday...

  • These are four polls of Ohio that were all released Wednesday:

University of Cincinnati/Ohio Poll: Obama +2.0

    PPP: Obama +5.0

    NYT/CBS/Quinnipiac: Obama +5.0

    Reuters/Ipsos: Obama +3.0

Two of them were trending Obama, two were unchanged. If these hold, Obama is going to win.

I'm not getting my hopes up because error bars.

  • I was feeling Romney in the last two weeks, but feeling more Obama now. Romney really can't win without Ohio and it doesn't look like he has it.

No way to know for sure.

  • If he wins, he wins.

Maybe possibly could you guys then STFU about gore versus bush?

I'm guessing you'll be too busy gloatng about 7.6 unemployment and 1.3 GDP.

    🙂

  • If.........

    We're lucky.

  • I'm going to try not to come in here at all after the election. I've been covering this stuff nonstop for months. I'm tired of it.

Also, you've got partisan pique/liberals suck/they're ruining the country in just about every one of your posts lately. Maybe you should take a break too.

After all, no matter who wins is going to enjoy the benefit of a nice economic recovery with about 12 million new jobs over the next four years. That's why Romney picked that number - because that's what economists expect anyway.

  • Bloomberg just backed Obama. So did the right-wing magazine "The Economist", which explained that Romney's tax plans are fanciful and would make things worse. Combined with the Powell endorsement and Christie's lavish praise you've got a lot for independents to chew on in these last few days.

    Romney's lost the momentum. It's Obama's now.

  • Putin and Chavez are all for Obamao.

    With Bloomberg nutjob added in,...

it looks even better for Romney.

  • Bloomberg.

    I'm stunned.

  • And because of global warming too.

"But we can't do it alone. We need leadership from the White House — and over the past four years, President Barack Obama has taken major steps to reduce our carbon consumption, including setting higher fuel-efficiency standards for cars and trucks.

Mitt Romney, too, has a history of tackling climate change. As governor of Massachusetts, he signed on to a regional cap-and-trade plan designed to reduce carbon emissions 10 percent below 1990 levels....But since then, he has reversed course, abandoning the very cap-and-trade program he once supported."

    ...Noooo. Mitt Romney did that?

  • Romney learns. He's smart that way.

    Obamao never learns anything.

    Hence, his grades are classified.

He's a radical, racist dumbass. Who got a free entry and grades into...

    Occidental.

True but in the last 12 yrs there has only been one year with less than 10 named storms(2009 had 9) and in the 12yrs before that there was 6. The past 3 years(10,11,12) are currently tied for the 3rd most active, 08 is tied for 5th, and 05 was the most active. For one reason or another there has been a definite increase in the frequency of tropical storms.

Out of the past how many millions years do you base your statistics, or only the last 12? See my point.

Since 1851, but if you have statistics that go back further I wouldn't mind looking at them. http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/E11.html

  • My Wednesday morning reaction will be a lot like my Monday morning reactions.

Mainly that the election will be a lot like a Browns win or loss. I will be a little more cheerful or not depending, but it won't make me happy or sad all week long. The worst part is listening to Steeler fans gloat.

I expect an Obama win but we may get lucky. Who knows?

I really do see the President as a symptom and not the cause of whatever is going wrong in the country. I don't particularly like the guy, he seems smug and arrogant whenever he's speaking extemporaneously. But then again his acolytes are smug and arrogant and probably no more informed that he is.

I guess vapor trail sort of hit on something.

He speculates that the United States is on the down side of the mountain.

You can liken me to the old man who shouldn't be allowed to drive anymore but as for myself the idea of handing the keys over to the Chinese or the Arabs or the Europeans is just a little bit grating.

In for more years I expect the number of Americans on some sort of assistance should grow even more.

I'm just hoping, like most of us, to move my investments somewhere safe before the big crash.

    But bottom line?

The things that make me happy or sad don't really depeng on the empty suit and the White House.

And if someone offers me some free shit? I'll probably just blush and take it.
