I was this close to going to the USAFA with the ultimate goal of becoming a fighter pilot. Luckily for me, I realized how big a problem I had with authority. That, compounded with the budget cuts for the F/A-22 and F-35 makes me think I played the numbers well.

lol, I saved nothing except my own sanity. I would haaaate being in the military.

Vapor its really not that bad. You might find you'd like it more than you think. I personally had more fun in tech school in the air force than anywhere. Keesler was fun. And the authority is really not all that oppressive

except for the story of my famous bike ride at Keesler AFB. Maybe Cysko heard the legend...@@ (eh... probably happened way too many years early for them
to keep telling the story....)
Now, basic at Lackland - that was tough authority....except I knew it was just a test...for weeks, and kept having to do pushups for grinning
at the TI like Gomer Pyle...
I couldn't help it ..... Reyes was really funny....
