Week 11 Game Impressions: Cowboys Vs. Browns

The Browns Board
93 28 4.2k
  • -on fourth and goal, the throw outside the corner of the endzone by weeden was awful, why not run richardson to the right of the endzone? At least run again!

-haden not being in once again kills the browns, secondarys depth issues grow worse each week, skrine needs to play cleaner

-weeden in general was hot and cold

-defense in general was hot and cold

-10 first downs through penalties by CLE really says it all. Go ahead and spot the opposing team ten first downs and see if u can win

  • I don't plan to read over this thread and I only watched the game off and on as I was doing stuff outside. I was however in the house when TJ Ward got "steelered" and flagged for a very clean hit on Ogletree that gave the cowboys a first down plus 15 yards. The "defenseless receiver" bs is getting a little old.

  • That was a Hell of a TRY.

Ummmm Someone had one to many today.... 😵

no. not at all. and BTW go fuck yourself.

sure i took it too far. but you gonna let someone come into your house and insult your family? how about rob and steal in front of you?

i've dealt with these type of people all my life. talk shit, this and that, and when they get smacked they wonder why.

i know it's just a game, but we've been swallowing this shit too long.

be in my place with 20 NY cowboy fans and me the only browns fan....with a chance to win the game. what happens? i take it like a man when we lose (typically) and those fans turn to me and shake my hand. not one little bitch had the gall to say anything stoopid like the asshole fan that breached our line.

sorry if i take that personally.

    fuck this.

  • - Weeden again looks bad. Throws were terrible and as mentioned, receivers saved the day.

Everyone except Weeden seems to be maturing. I really hope he gets a handle on this crap and starts playing like a NFL QB, especially a starting NFL QB.

    - Team is entirely too one dimensional on offense. Cannot keep running Richardson up the middle over and over and over, especially when you have a chance to win the game. Again, piss poor game management by Shurmur. I'll be glad when he's gone, this team actually looks good, capable and a threat to many they play, but they play calling absolutely kills our chances over and over. Richardson is a strong RB, but have him try something new. Also, again he stutter steps on a few key plays that could've been a first down, trying to turn the big play when all we need is a first, but I won't fault him too much. He played a good game, just doing what the weak sideline calls.

    - Hardesty came in and did well for what 2 plays ??? Why don't we try to be a bit more multidimensional ????

    - Little and Gordon appear to have started to come around. Great jobs.

    - Dierdorf makes me sick. His homo tendancies and stroking of Romo make me want to turn the sound off. Why doesn't he retire ?

    - Not impressed with a huge expensive stadium that can't keep a reliable playclock. Did I see Lazy Boy seats in the endzone ??? That's a little over the top. Anyone who goes to a game and props his feet up, needs to stay home.

I see a good 2012 - 2013 team in the making. All we need is Weeden to go to Peyton Manning camp in 2013 offseason and grow ! He looks more and more like a baseball player in a football suit instead of a starting NFL football player.

Well how bout that, he sucks at two sports!

  • I think we have some real aggressive good young players. We are on the right track without a doubt. I'm not sure about Weeden. I don't think the new owner is either.

I agree the officiating was horrifically biased to the Cowboys. Several examples; The phantom first down by Bryant or Austin, Blatant false start by Dallas' O line, Ogletree penalty was no different from Cribb's hit in the Baltimore game. I didn't think they'd win this game but I didn't except the officials to help Dallas so blatantly.

FACT ! The biased officiating was just like watching a Squeelers game. Painful !

  • Missed Haden im a big way

Skrine and Brown again were exposed as medicore at best while Dez has a career day.

Dline played lights out..certainly well enough to win the game.

Weeden regressed again in his passing and decision making.

Shurmur ineffective in motivating the troops to finish strongly.

Penalties hurt a team unable to play through adversity.

Culture of lack of confidence and focus pervades top to bottom in Cleveland.

Honestly, I will be surprised if Browns win another this season.

    1) I'm not in Philly? STOP trying to sway the convo.

2)You not on the Deegan. You on the Henry Hudson.

Hey Mik............. I'm fucking damn proud of ya. Give the prick all the hell you can heap upon him.

Look, everyone else, you guys are all over her crying like a fucking bunch of pussies about the thirty things that have to be done next year........are you all a bunch of fucking idiots?

With perhaps a coach as bad and cowardly as Marty Stinkenhiemer and refs determined to keep the Cowboys' playoff hopes alive, the Browns played well enough to win.

Forget 2012 already. Enjoy the few players who will be with us next year, and look forward to good things in 2013. There are still a lot of football suprises in store for 2012 but just relax. We're on the right track.

Nobody is saying that that the Browns don't deserve respect. What I AM saying, is that this clown is a tough guy fraud. Don't rally behind somebody who can't/won't get it shaking in his own area. ESPECIALLY after calling out one of the most rich class neighborhoods in NY as his home base. Cleveland fans are respected WORLDWIDE by everyone. This dude is a JOKE and HE KNOWS IT. Dobbs Ferry, NY is on NOBODY's radar. They are upper-class pussies who DARE to talk tough on the internet. SMH. Dude talking about, "He never set foot in Brooklyn." He COULDN'T set foot in Brooklyn. He's soft as baby thighs. Cleveland fans have my respect for sticking with their teams throughout.

This dude is a disgrace to every Dog Pound hardcore fan that's ever existed.

  • What's so badass about Brooklyn? I lived for two years on clifton place between Bedford and nostrand right down the street from the g train exit there. Bed stuy. No big deal.

Yes, you are one of the the implants who have lived in BK and survived a whole "2 years" in the 2000's that feel more "urban". I guarantee you trembled evreytime you went outside the "safe" zone. Couple of blocks from Marcy P's and you feeling yourself? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I'm sure that's what you write home about. In the 80's and 90's you dudes wouldn't be able to even claim this nonsense. But since the gentrification of all of these hoods, it's seems like all you squares move here just to put it on your "hood" resumes for your peers. You not fooling nobody but yourself.

You moved to a GENTRIFIED section of BK and THINK that you lived in the hood. So many of you hipsters and clowns do this and report home like they really did something. You NEVER set FOOT past your "safety" borders and I know it. More importantly.......YOU KNOW IT.

    DALLAS UP!

  • I see the mods removed my original post, so that lets me know that they condone the Dobbs Ferry Fairy talking that shit, but nobody else. To all the classy fans here, you have my respect for a well played game that could have went either way. I'm sure next year will be different for the Browns.

As far as Dobbs Ferry boy is concerned, my offer still stands. PM me if you feeling some kinda way.
