yeah and i didn't get to see all of the game but it went 'east coast-wide' when the jets game went final.

shurmur isn't the best BUT the offense, with gordon and little looking like all pros, catching everything that was close should have not been sitting on 13 points for 2 quarters.

and i blame it on the inaccuracy of weeden. weeden threw behind, below and above everyone that was WIDE open.

TR did his job. maybe should of fed him more and especially on the 4th and goal but weeden just totally sucks. period.

everyone has been trying to sell me on weeden and i've taken the bait, but with what haslam/banner has said that these last 7 games were his make or break resume', i'm sure haslam was NOT impressed.

see ya. mccoy WOULD have done a better job. period. those on the other side.....prove it to me.

my draft next year with positional players has changed from LB LB. to QB CB.

flush the toilet haslam this shit stinks.

I say it's a 50/50 chance Weeden is our starter next year which is fucked up.

Tired of making excuses for our QB like everyone has done with McCoy.

Weeden doesn't put the ball in good spots and with the time he had to throw today he should of picked Dallas apart.

OMG shut the fuck up about weeden he isn't the problem here hes a rookie of course hes going to have some bad throws here and there this game was not his fault i suppose u think its his fault that the refs didn't throw a flag on what 3rd and 8ish i wanna say and the false start that didn't get called and then end up scoring on. or is it his fault that we played prevent almost all game cuz our secondary is complete shit without haden in there or its his fault that we had what 10 pentlies that gave them first downs on offense? your right this is all weedens fault

Dude throws for 200 yards, two touchdowns, and doesn't have an interception and he's terrible.

Weeden probably has a better arm then Colt I will give him that...but the guy has no game presence, no leaderhship skills, fumble prone, just doesn't have the quickness like colt had...and just doesn't bring the excitement the Colt did. You can moan and bitch at me all you Want but Weeden is NOT A WINNER!!! give it up already. I hope he gets knocked the F- out so you guys can see how a true team leader leads his boys!! I never see him on the sidelines patting his guys on the back or telling the D to hold them boys...who is this clown, cause he is not a born leader

What scares me about Weeden is he looks like he is thinking too much and not reacting.

He had all day today. He seem hesitant. Listen he has played poorly the last 3 or 4 games.

He is playing afraid to make a mistake. NFL windows are small. To win in the NFL you need to make some tight throws. Not dumb throws but in tight windows.

I would have loved to see Phil Dawson play QB

Weeden was just as successful in college as Colt. Colt just had two more years of starting than he did. It pretty much evens out considering one had two years and one had four. So calling Weeden a loser and Colt a winner makes no sense.

This whole game came down to two things: God awful officiating and offensive play calls. I can't reiterate how much Shurmer's God awful play-calling holds this team back. Weeden has shown quite a bit of good things on the football field, and quite a bit of bad things. He's a rookie QB guys, just look at Luck today. The main difference between the other rookie guys and Weeden is Shurmer and his play calling, it's that simple. Shurmer believes in this terrible ass offense he runs that consists of check-downs and 30 Trent Richardson runs up the middle.

Just relax. Haslam sure as shit is getting that clown out of dodge along with everything associated with him. I'd bet my left nut he goes after an innovator on offense who actually embraces today's NFL. I don't get why this is so hard to see.

hunt: it's not about 'my guy' or 'your guy'. it's about performance and win-ability. i don't think anyone here thinks that colt mccoy is a dan marino or a john elway. it's the fire and intensity, even playing with injuries, that mccoy showed in his first 2 years compared to what (IMO) weeden has shown. there was no QB competition in TC or preseason. holmgren and heckert went all-in on this guy thinking that they had fucked up with the mccoy pick. meanwhile if that was the case then that means holmgren and heckert had fucked up twice spending a pick on another QB without giving their first pick a chance to prove himself, good or bad.

see now saying this, if haslam thinks weeden isn't the guy then it will be 3 picks in the upper rounds that this franchise has blown on a QB that hasn't been given the shot. yes weeden has a stronger arm but does that matter when everybody is running slant routes and 20 yard post patterns? reallY?

no one person in this org. since holmgren has taken over has been given a fair shot. no one. mangini mccoy vickers. should i go on? give a friend a job. then make them your puppet and whipping boy, blow your load on the next brett favre (fools gold) every year and leave an embarrassment to the proud city that took you in.

                      haslam, pleez do us right!!!!!

You hit the nail on the head. This thread should be titled "Browns Need to Address Cornerback and Free Safety in Next Year's Offseason After Getting Victimized in the Secondary". Also, I like Gordon and Little and think that they will be very good, but they are not the most reliable route runners yet. I guess it would not be a Browns season without a QB controversy.

Let's not forget, his WRs are still very raw regarding route running. And, if you watch some of the replays, guys gave up after their initial route and when Weeden had all that time, nobody was fighting to get open. I think 200+ yds 2 TDs and 0 INTs is a pretty damn good game. I still don't like the playcalling.

If you want to blame one person, blame Skrine. He stunk. It confirmed that CB is our #1 need on this team moving forward.

you wanna blame skrine? then blame haden. the dude fucked us for 4 games this year. mike ditka woulda went in with half a stroke and played that game today.

how can you blame ANYTHING on the defense today? we lead 13-0 at the half against supposedly one of the more explosive offensive teams in the league. thank god watson can jump. and when did 20-35 comp and fumbling the football become good?

yeah CB next year right after QB. how many throws (even the commentators were saying it all day) behind and high that weeden threw today that everybody here was bitching about mccoy last year?

                                He's a rookie.

Simple gentlemen. Look at Peyton Manning's rookie season. Give it some time. However, Shurmur has to go. And our defensive scheme giving guys 10 yard on every passing play... come on.

And the penalties killed us. Killed us.

A lot more was wrong than weeden today. I do think that he is gun shy. Not throwing to receiver and letting them make a play on the ball. I don't think he trusts himself enough and I think the staff is telling him no Int's so he being very safe.

Would having haden have won this game?

Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...
