The fact that you're even on here mentioning Polamalu before Roethlisberger shows just how very little you actually know about anything outside Cleveland. As far as the defense is concerned it's the corner play that has raised the bar. Lebeau is a terrific coordinator but he's not out there playing so it's really probably time you stop playing it off like Lebeau is the reason any of the players on the steeler defense are above bar. The Steelers will also be without Antonio Brown, a pretty substantial subtraction. It's a must win game and I expect a win. I just hope the team doesn't get more injured than it already is...I'm not even going to quantify the rest with a response because it's insane.
EDIT: And yes you'll be facing Charlie Batch. Do you think Weeden has the chops to win the game? Richardson certainly isn't going anywhere.

The fact that u think Trich will not run on the Steelers make you just as big of a homer fan as the next...
Trich will run on the Steelers and he will have a huge impact on the game. This is a very winnable game, matter a fact there is no reason why we should lose..oh wait one reason SHURMER and that a lone has cost us at least 4 games this year...
In this game
Qb-Browns, Batch Sucks Weeden wins by default
RB- Browns, No Brainer
Oline- Browns No Brainer
WR- Steelers Just because of Wallace who is a flat out stud!!!!
TE- Even
Special Teams- Browns all day....
Defense- Steelers Simple Dick might be the greatest DC in the game
Overall Browns win 17-13 and Steeler fans will say oh we did not have Big Ben, which is true, but regardless the Browns play the Steelers hard ever time....

1. How did Ray Rice just do on the ground? Last i checked he has a much stronger pedigree than Richardson.
2. Is Weeden better than Batch at this point? He may be better but is he better right now? I think I'd rather have Batch just for decision making alone. (long term I'd certainly rather have Weeden)
3. Oline is a no brainer? I don't think it's a no brainer. You have Joe Thomas that would start for the Steelers. The others I'd take the Steeler counter part the whole way across the line. As of now it's 2 first rounders and 2 2nd rounders. (DeCastro is injured but Ramon Foster has been playing well above his pay grade all season.
4 WR: I'm a little disgusted that you found it in yourself to ONLY mention Mike Wallace. There isn't a receiver on your roster that would start for the Steelers. Seriously.
5. TE: Even? Seriously? Heath Miller in A LOT of circles is regarded as one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL. Ben Watson can't smell where he shit last. Sorry
6. Special teams: Browns all day? Because of Cribbs? What has he done lately? Isn't this the "what have you done for me lately league?"
7. The steeler defense is only good because of Lebeau. Got it, you're a mental midget.
Seriously go back over what you said, think about it and then reevaluate. It's fine to be a homer. I'm a homer but i don't spew complete and total bull and what you said above is exactly that. Wake up man. I expect it to be a good game because Ben is hurt and because it's a Division game but the Browns aren't on the same level and won't be for a while.

Pouncey and Gilbert over Mack and Schwartz? Probably not. Joe Thomas no brainer. I'll definitely give u the guards as far as the o line. As far as not as good as the steelers, I give you two years tops

Pouncey is arguably the most athletic guard in the NFL, battling that out with his own brother. Yes Pouncey > Mack and that's not being a homer. I'm not a huge Gilbert fan but don't forget they also drafted Mike Adams. Gilbert just has semi heavy feat which has him on the ground on top of the legs of his own damn players a lot. My point was it's not a no brainer and our guards are better, ESPECIALLY when DeCastro is back. Soooo for the sake of argument let's just say for now Schwartz wins by a very narrow margin. (I haven't watched him at all. You'd have one tackle that is VERY good but Starks is no chump. Our interior line is better so that's 3 positions and a coin flip at right tackle. It goes from the previous claimed "no brainer" to a nod in Steeler favor. Bottom line the line is no longer a problem in Pittsburgh, ESPECIALLY with the Haley offense and the ball leaving the QB's hand A LOT faster.
Starks, Colon, Pouncey, DeCastro, Gilbert or Adams is a pretty good line once it all comes together.
EDIT: You also can't say two years with any sort of confidence. You have no idea what to expect from Weeden long term and hell the guy will be 30 next year. Is Shhhhhhhhhimscaredofmyownshadow going to be the Coach next year? As of now there is no continuity and that has always been the biggest problem for Cleveland. You certainly aren't far off but two years is a little lofty.

Two reasons the Steelers could win. 1) Shur-loss sucks. When he gets canned its addition by subtraction. The 49ers didn't do too badly when they got rid of Singletary and brought in Harbaugh no? I really believe the Browns do have the talent to compete in the NFL- NOW, but it's being stifeld by piss-poor coaching. The only game the Browns weren't competitive in this year was against the Giants. 2) If Haden can't go, the Browns CBs are a mess. Sheldon Brown is too slow and Buster Skrine too inexperienced to keep up with a #1 WR.
Regarding the rest of your stuff-
1) Richardson has underperformed so far compared to his draft status.
2) The Browns finally had all their starting D-line in place against the Cowboys and it showed. If Batch isn't mobile you may need to bring in qb #4 by the end of the game.
3) OL- your guys on injured reserve won't be playing against the Browns on Sunday- sorry about that.
4) Gordon would be your #2 wr. He has 400+ yards despite not getting into the starting lineup until game 4.
6) Last time I looked Cribbs is still top 10 in every, and top 5 in most punt and KR stats that matter.
7) Steeler defense is better due to better coaching and linebacking. BTW, Rubin, Taylor, Ward and Haden would all be starting (and Jackson might be) for your vaunted defense.

The saddest part of all of this is I think you honestly believe it! This is why you will always live in your own little world. There has never been, and never will be, an NFL team who is commonly accepted as one of the worst 3 or 4 in the league who are one or two players away from being elite. NEVER! The Browns are numerous players, coaches, executives, plus hundreds of thousands of fans away from being elite.
The problem is that you are not honest with yourself....because clearly you lack any knowledge of history or any football knowledge.
First off though I will say that you have a scintilla of correctness in your statement:....the Browns need new executive and that has happened. The Browns HAVE replaced their executives. Jimmy Haslam and Joe Banner are now the executives on this team in lieu of Randy Lerner and Mike Holmgren. Did you not hear that news?
And I agree that some new coaches are needed. Probably, particularly the HC. Though with their record none of the assistants should feel secure in their jobs either.
As for the players...no, at starters anyway they only need a few. A DB, a LB, maybe an OG.
What they do need is for the players they do have to play up to their potential.
Perhaps they do need "numerous" players....to provide depth to the team.
As for the fans.....yinz can't handle the Browns fans that are there.
And unlike the Steelers, no, we don't need a pack of FRAKs.

1.Ray Rice is a great back, just because Trich is a rookie does not mean he sucks until next yr. Trich is having a better yr than Rice
2.your a moron saying a third string QB is better than Weeden I wish I could come thru the Computer and slap the shit out of you for saying stupid shit
3. Your o-line has now KOed two QB Big Ben yr after yr gets crushed. Weeden Sacked 14 timesd this year we have 2 pro bowlers and should be a third on our oline, so yes we have a better oline
4. yes only Mike Wallace Gordon and Little are both better than anyone else on your team
5. I agree Miller is a stud- Dont know what I was thinking
6. OK Besides Cribbs how about a field goal kicker that has not missed a field goal all yr and onl.y missed 1 last yr. I think Dawson has missed a total of 5 field goals in 5 yrs..so yes ST- Browns
7. No Dick might be the Best DC in the NFL so we makes your Defense better with the how he gets them prepared!!! Not saying you dont have great D players, but it is all about DICK, AND FACT IS THE STEELERS LOVE DICK. Dick always finds away to fill a hole with a big black........LOL

What the fuck do you mean by this statement? It makes no sense whatsoever. I mention these guys name, ergo I don't know anything outside of Cleveland? What are you trying to say? That I just heard of these guys last week?
Do you disagree that the careers of both Polamalu and Lewis are essentially over? They are not close to what they once were...and never will be again?
And I didn't say the same thing about BR.
By confusing yourself you confuse everyone else.
As far as the defense is concerned it's the corner play that has raised the bar. Lebeau is a terrific coordinator but he's not out there playing so it's really probably time you stop playing it off like Lebeau is the reason any of the players on the steeler defense are above bar.
It is simply your opinion that the players on this team are as good as you think they are.
It is my opinion that the Steelers defense relies on the schemes of the man in charge.
It will show when he retires.
The Steelers will also be without Antonio Brown, a pretty substantial subtraction.
OK, so what. Every starter that is injured for every team in the NFL is a substantial subtraction.
It's a must win game and I expect a win.
Sure, you should expect a win. LeBeau has never lost to a rookie QB and the Browns are HCed by a Weenie.
Expecting it and getting it are two different things. Unless something goes crazy wrong this game will be close...just like every other game the Browns have played, even against the best opposition. They coulda/shoulda beat Philly, they could have beat Indy, they could have beat Baltimore twice, they coulda/shoulda beat Dallas, they had a big lead over the Giants but blew it. They coulda beat Cincy in the first game. The one game they actually stunk up was against the Bills.
There are no guarantees.
I just hope the team doesn't get more injured than it already is...I'm not even going to quantify the rest with a response because it's insane.
The one thing I can guarantee you is that that team will come out more injured than it is.
As for what you won't respond to, you are not making any sense again.
EDIT: And yes you'll be facing Charlie Batch. Do you think Weeden has the chops to win the game? Richardson certainly isn't going anywhere.
Weeden is learning how to win. He would have won a last minute game last week if the Browns defense didn't go into a total prevent in the last minute.
And I wouldn't sleep on Richardson. He is just starting to get his rookie legs.

Again, you make absolutely no sense. I state that Lewis and Polamalu are at the end of their careers....do you disagree with that?
Will Allen has been fantastic with Troy injured and our corner play is top tier.
Well, if I know nothing about the Steelers you know even less. I would say those guys are playing fairly adequate....but "top tier" is simply a view of them through piss colored glasses.
Especially from Keenan Lewis. He then goes on to mention Ben wouldn't have made a difference if he were healthy. What planet do you need to live on to hold those opinions?
The planet wherein one believes that the Ravens are the somewhat better team than the Steelers even with BR in there. And that is called planet Earth.
You are suffering from the delusion that if only BR had been under center that the Ravens win because they only put up 13 points. That is a mere theory. And you forget the Butterfly effect. If BR is in their maybe the Rats do things differently that would still lead them to a win.
I mean, its not as if they haven't beaten the Steelers before even if BR is in there. In fact, didn't they beat them twice last year?

Much stronger pedigree? What are you doing, breeding horses...or slaves? Ray Rice has a longer career...that's it. I both games this year Rice and TR played fairly evenly.
You don't know that because you don't know nothing outside of Pittsburgh.
And just because you held one RB in check doesn't mean that you will hold another in check.
The Browns defense held the Cowboys D to like 43 yards rushing, and the Cowboys RBs are superior to the Steelers....but it don't mean automatically that they will hold the Steelers RBs to 40-50 yds.

At no time in his career would batch have ever been able to throw as well as Weeden throws.
I will say that the only thing Batch has going for him over Weeden is experience. (and better coaching/play calling)

Joe Thomas is better than anyone you have. The Schwartz is miles better than Mike Adams at RT. Pouncey and Mack are a push. As for the guards....I don't know, it is always hard to evaluate guards. I don't think the Browns guards have played up to par...but I don't know if I would trade them for the Steelers pair over the long haul.
4 WR: I'm a little disgusted that you found it in yourself to ONLY mention Mike Wallace. There isn't a receiver on your roster that would start for the Steelers. Seriously.
The Browns have 3 rookies and a 2d year guy at WR.
Yes, for now the Steelers WRs if healthy would evaluate better. But might you not still be losing Wallace to FA?
Without Wallace I much prefer the future of the Browns young WRs over that of the Steelers.
I mean, for Chrissakes the Steelers are talking about bringing in Plaxico Burress again. Yea, maybe injuries has caused them to become desperate... but hell.
5. TE: Even? Seriously? Heath Miller in A LOT of circles is regarded as one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL. Ben Watson can't smell where he shit last. Sorry
I would say that Miller is better than the Browns TE.
But Ben Watson can smell where he shit last: The Dallas end zone where he dropped his load twice with TD passes. So it might not be so great in Miller's favor as you think.
6. Special teams: Browns all day? Because of Cribbs? What has he done lately? Isn't this the "what have you done for me lately league?"
7. The steeler defense is only good because of Lebeau. Got it, you're a mental midget.
The Steeler defense IS good because of LeBeau.
Would they be as good without him? Maybe. It depends on the quality of the person that would replace him. You say that the Steelers D is doing just fine without Pollyfroggy. OK, maybe they did find a decent player to replace him. That doesn't mean they are as good.
Again, you think that just because they are the Steelers that you can lob in any pole smoker to do the same job just as well as the Hall of Fame talent you lose.
You think that EVERY time you lose a Jim Brown that you have a Leroy Kelly to replace him with. (or, in Steeler terms, say a Mike Webster being replaced by Dermotti Dawson).
But, you know, sometime that just isn't the case. Sometimes you get Bubby Brister to replace Terry Bradshaw.
Yea, it will be at least a few more weeks. (or more likely next year when Shurmur will likely be replaced)

Gosh, I thought Pouncey was a center.
Yes Pouncey > Mack and that's not being a homer.
Yes, it is. They are about equally good.

Who sucks pretty bad.

Two big maybes.

Talk about brain dead. Both Browns tackles are far better. JT is HOF caliber. The Schwartz will be a perennial pro Bowler (if they actually choose RTs and not LTs to play RT). Adams is a schlub.
Only a homer would say Pouncey is better than Mack. And maybe one of your guards is better than ours. Maybe.
It goes from the previous claimed "no brainer" to a nod in Steeler favor.
Only if your eyes are so full of yellow piss that you can't see straight. Go take a leak man.
Bottom line the line is no longer a problem in Pittsburgh, ESPECIALLY with the Haley offense and the ball leaving the QB's hand A LOT faster.
I do think you have finally hit on something right here. Haley should never have been let go by KC.

You also cannot say that the Steelers will not be the bottom feeders of the division in two years. It is highly possible considering the losses they will likely suffer in those years.

6. OK Besides Cribbs how about a field goal kicker that has not missed a field goal all yr and onl.y missed 1 last yr. I think Dawson has missed a total of 5 field goals in 5 yrs..so yes ST- Browns
I forgot about that one. Dawson has been so reliable, it's just taken for granted. He SHOULD be in the Pro Bowl, no other kicker is close to what he's done this year- take his makes from 50+ yards for starters. Don't want to jinx him, but how can you get better than perfection? Unfortunately because the Browns suck, he'll probably get overlooked again.

I'm not sure why I called Pouncey a guard and I would have liked to respond to a bunch of things in here but instead Gipper quoted what I said 48 times and now it's just a big ass mess. Cowboy running backs superior to the Steelers? Lance Dunbar? Felix Jones? Murray was hurt and you're talking out of your ass Gipper. Yes I also agree that Polamalu and Lewis are on the back end of their careers. My point was you mentioned those two like they're the most important players on the team. You THEN decide to mention Ben but then chase it with "he likely wouldn't have done any better than Bryon" a absolutely insane comment and the only reason i addressed it.
And Tampadawgs you're talking crazy. First and foremost Mike Wallace isn't even the best receiver on the team, that designation goes to Antonio Brown. There isn't a wide receiver on the Browns roster that would fit in to the top 3 on the Steelers. Brown, Wallace and Sanders are better than anything you have on the roster. Sorry.
EDIT: Oh and I can 100% say that the Steelers won't be bottom feeders in the division in 2 years. As long as Ben is on the roster we'll never be bottom feeders. Sorry you're just going to have to wait.

The biggest difference now between the Steelers and the Browns is at QB, when BR is healthy you have a huge advantage. The Browns will win on Sunday because he isnt playing.
Your WR's are better right now. More years in the NFL and more developed but we are gaining here.

Josh Gordon would NOT be a number two on the Pittsburgh roster. The Steelers also haven't had a bunch of garbage time catch up passing. Gordon does not start over Brown or Wallace and Sanders is arguably the best route runner on the team, he just had to get healthy. How the hell can you say Gordon is better than Brown? or Wallace depending on how you rank the Steeler receivers?
EDIT: Haden would push for a spot but Keenan Lewis is playing out of his mind and Ike Taylor is arguably the best tackling corner in the NFL and you need to be able to tackle to play corner for the Steelers. I'm not sure how Haden is in run support. Rubin doesn't start, Taylor isn't healthy for you guys right now is he? If DeCastro can't be mentioned, neither can Taylor. Ward does not start and yea Jackson may beat out Foote but certainly not Timmons. We lost Sean Spence before the season started.

I quoted what you said because in every sentence you write you spew something stupis, thus I must correct the record.
Murray and Mendenhall may be a wash...and both have been injured. I would take Felix Jones over any of the other RBs on the Steelers.
Yes I also agree that Polamalu and Lewis are on the back end of their careers. My point was you mentioned those two like they're the most important players on the team.
Because they HAVE BEEN the most important players on those teams for years. Both of those teams have had their reputation predicated on defense and Lewis and Polly have been the heart and soul of those defenses. Fact.
You THEN decide to mention Ben but then chase it with "he likely wouldn't have done any better than Bryon" a absolutely insane comment and the only reason i addressed it.
Maybe...but my point was that I believe the Ravens would have won that game with or witout BR playing in it.
And Tampadawgs you're talking crazy. First and foremost Mike Wallace isn't even the best receiver on the team, that designation goes to Antonio Brown.
Well then, how about the Browns just sign Wallace away from the Steelers as a FA. Then we can see how much yinz all think you can do without him..since so many of your other WRs are so much better than him
There isn't a wide receiver on the Browns roster that would fit in to the top 3 on the Steelers. Brown, Wallace and Sanders are better than anything you have on the roster. Sorry.
You are certainly sorry. Sure, those receivers have had better careers SO FAR...because our Receivers are: A. Greg Little, a second year player and in 2 years after just converting to WR in his junior year of college and not playing his senior year. B. Josh Gordon, a rookie who also missed his last year of College. C. Travis Benjamin, another rookie. D. Josh Cooper, another rookie. The only veterans on this WR corps are MoMass who is out constantly and Jordan Norwood, also injured.
You have no clue if those Steeler receivers are better. They very well may not be. They are simply older and more experienced. That is all you can say about them. I like the future of the Browns group...the potential. (Which I know has often gotten sidetracked with the Browns...potential has petered out because of karma)
EDIT: Oh and I can 100% say that the Steelers won't be bottom feeders in the division in 2 years. As long as Ben is on the roster we'll never be bottom feeders. Sorry you're just going to have to wait.
Just because a team has a good QB doesn't mean they can't be bottom feeders. You put too much faith in Big Rapist to be your savior for everything. Good QBs have been on bad teams before. Ask the Mannings about their dad.
