Browns Gameday In-Game Thread

  • No Browns coverage in central OH today!!!

    Need to get into the 21st century and get my big screen LG wired into my computer.

    That way I can lounge on my favorite couch as I watch the young Browns gain more confidence and momentum.

    4-3 last seven games. I stand corrected in stating they would not win another game a few weeks ago.

    Today only 2 penalties for 25 yards and 1 interception with 0 fumbles.

    O line gave up only one sack. Team seems to becoming more focused on fundamentals.

    So maybe some of you assholes will lay off Weeden and give him a chance to learn and develop. All he did today was lead your pathetic team to a road win that hasn't been seen in Cleveland in like 2 years. There is promise here, even if the Sunday armchair quarterbacks can't see it. Defense is playing better, Richardson is seeing holes and these high school level receivers are finally catching passes.

    Really you want to give the 33 best quarterback in the league a break...he has played in 10 games he is not a rookie anymore, even Pat said that about 5 games ago...he is not a rookie he is an NFL quarterback and I'm using that loosely...He has thrown more picks than any rookie QB this year...he has no leadership skills, he constantly makes the same mistakes over and over and over and over again. Jimmy Haslam HATES him, ok that's to harsh he despises him and wish he would go away...he will NOT be back next year. He was a wasted pick completely and utterly useless.

  • Here's why I'm excited for the browns going forward. With a 3 point lead and almost 8 minutes left in the game, the brownies went 94 yards and iced the game with the TD. I know it's hard to believe but that's what good teams do: They get an opportunity to seal the game and kill clock and grab the game by the throat.

    Weeden threw one bad INT and one iffy one today, but on that drive he looked poised and franchise worthy. Bottom line is that's what you have to do to win games in the NFL and it finally looks like we have a crew to do it.

  • I think some of you guys on here will never be happy no matter what. We could pitch a shutout every game and go undefeated and some of you would still find shit to piss and moan about.

    We WON! Nothing can bother me right now! It was not pretty and I think Weeden was playing for Oakland but a win is a win and for that I am happy.
