Bengal Fan Helping You With The Draft..

I was watching some highlights on WR's and Qb's coming out in this years draft, but the Bengals don't really need either of them at the moment so i thought of you guys needing a QB, Weeden sucks, & you guys needing a threat at WR. My recommendation for you guys (3 rounds)...
1st RD- WR- Keenan Allen - California
2nd RD- DE - Dion Jordan - Oregon
3rd RD- QB - Zac Dysert - Miami (OH)

Sorry, we already have our #1 WR in Josh Gordon & Greg Little has appeared to have cured his severe case of dropitis. I doubt the Browns will draft another qb high- Weeden doesn't suck as nearly badly as you make him out to be. Why would the Browns want to draft another "project" qb anyway? .
Unfortunately, the Browns mini win streak has put them out of the running for a guy they could really use Manti Te'o. Look for the Browns to take defensive BPA in round 1, they are in dire need of a stud pass rusher, be it a DE or LB. A bookend corner opposite Joe Haden wouldn't hurt either. Incidentally, as it stands the Browns don't have a second round pick- as they gave it up to take Gordon in the supplemental draft- and believe me, no one here is currently bitching about that move.
Third round would be anyone's guess as to what they will do- BPA at a number of positions.

Give Cincinnati to Kentucky please.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Browns go after Ogletree,Bowe or Delanie Walker in free agency, it would make Gordon & Little that much better.
I really hope we can snab at least 2 starters on D from free agency this off season there will be a lot of quality guys available, building through the draft is nice but free agency can work well too look at San Frans D.

Ogletree is incosistant. Bowe is basically the same type of receiver as Little and is going to want a ton of money.
My hope is the browns spend wisely. We need to add free agents who can compete or add depth. I am not looking for a big splash.

While these guys may be worth considering at some point....the fact is, the Browns QB will turn out to have a superior career than the Bengals QB. At least that is my prediction. Besides, the Browns have more pressing needs for their top picks than a QB or WR. I mean, don't you remember that we used a 1st and 2d round pick to get those positions...just you all did in the prior draft?

Thank you so much for your help. We needed to see things from an outsider's perspective in order to really see what we needed. I can only try to help repay the favor so let me help the Bengals with their draft.
1st round- trade up to get Matt Barkley QB, USC #1 overall
It's been a long time since the Bengals have had a QB that they could rely on, and Matt Barkley is the surest thing coming out of college since Ryan Leaf himself. By adding a QB, the Bengals solidify one of the weakest parts of their team and, with a few more solid acquisitions, all but lock themselves in for a AFC North Division Title. Expect Barkley to get OROY honors, with 5000 yards passing, 2000 rushing and 60 total TD's.
2nd round- Ryan Swope WR, Texas A&M
Ryan Swope has all the makings of an elite NFL WR. His 6'0" frame and blazing 4.5 40 make him an ideal prospect for a #1 WR. The Bengals have really been hurting at WR since the departure of TJ Houshmandzadeh, and Swope could be just the guy to get the wheels going on their anemic offense of 2012.
3rd round- Tyrann Matthieu CB LSU
Tyrann Matthieu has played 14 snaps in his entire college career, enough for NFL scouts to get a very good look at the young player. A Rhodes Scholar, this good samaritan plays much larger than his 5'2 frame, and should be a lock for DROY. Expect 25 interceptions and his entire first year salary donated to the Boys and Girls Club of America.

That's pretty sound advice coming from a fan of a team who's drafted many future HOF's such as David Klinger, Akili Smith, Peter Warrick and Ki-Jana Carter just to name a few...
