What kind of drugs do you use and are you willing to share?

  • Eagles take the LEAD! With the Bengals defeat tonight it will force them to beat Pittsburgh and Baltimore the final 2 weeks to make it into our rightful spot!

  • Eagles imploded ... But don't worry Bud ....

Bungles will lose to Stillers and Rats.

Stellers will lose to Cowboys and us.

And Jets are bound go lose one.

    We got this.

  • Shut up

  • You've gotta not beat the Redskins first. Make plans for January.

Yea, if you are really looking at this seriously, this Bengals win is irrelevent. They would have to lose to both the Steelers and Ravens. And the Steelers would have to lose to the Cowboys...and the Browns.

And of course the hardest part: the Browns would have to win out.

Can you have envisioned the day when you would have wanted both the Steelers and Ravens to win a game?

    As in "Playoff plans"?

It's certainly not irrelevant for us, the path just got harder, but clearer:

    Must happen:

    Browns Beat Redskins

    Cowboys Beat Steelers

    Browns Beat Broncos

    Steelers Beat Bengals

    Browns Beat Steelers

    Ravens Beat Bungles

    Plus:

Jets lose one of three: Titans, Chargers, Bills.

OK, but what would have changed if the Bengals lost to the Eagles? Would they still not have had to lose to both the Steelers and Ravens?

Unfortuneately, the most difficult of the tasks you outline is the Browns beating the Broncos. Right now, they are playing as well as any team in the league. And it is in Mile High.

No, had they lost they could have beaten the Steelers and lost to the Ravens and it really wouldn't have mattered who won the cowboy/steeler game in that path. Or they could have lost to steelers and beat ravens and that path would still have worked as long as Steelers lost to Cowboys.

We win all ties with Cincy and/or Pit at 8 wins, 3-way and two way.

But there is only one way to get there now, before there were variables. Now, Pittsburgh MUST lose this week AND WIN next week. The ONLY game either Pittsburgh or Cincinnati can win the rest of the way is PITTSBURGH OVER CINCINNATI. It's our only path left. If the Steelers beat the Cowboys, we are done regardless of what else happens.

We can beat the Broncos. Having to depend on the Cowboys, the Steelers and the Ravens .... Yuck.

Hopefully you are right. Nevertheless, the permutations that would have been required for the Browns to make the playoffs would have probably required an algorithm written by Dr. Sheldon Cooper to figure it out.
