Browns Vs. Redskins Score Predictions

Yeah, I'm sure it has nothing to do with their 1,200 yard rusher with 7 TDs. It's clearly been all RG3.
I didn't say RG3 wasn't good, don't get your little panties in a wad. But Cousins proved today that he isn't as much of a game changer as some thought.
You need to read my post again there Timmy...
I said the Rookie RB has played well and deserves credit... Also, Cousins did play well but it was against Cleveland lol.. I don't think anyone is ready to make him a starter over RGIII because he managed to beat Cleveland. The game would would have been out of reach for you after the first quarter had RG played. Similarly, there is no way he [Cousins] beats the Giants like RG did. RG had a win in Atlanta before he got knocked out of the game at the end - Cousins came in and lost the game. He made up for it against Baltimore and played well yesterday but no way Cousins is as good as RG in my opinion and Id say RG IS as big of a game changer as I thought.

It aslo helps the Skins by having a coach who taylors the gameplan for his players, instead of what we have.

Good point - I have been impressed by the Shannys in their job this year with RG and yesterday with Cousins. I think this makes a big difference... Yesterdays game was the first Browns game Ive watched so its hard for me to critique your coaching but it does seem like the Brown's game plan could have been better. They were at a slight disadvantage not knowing who would play QB - it sounded like they (And most Skins fans and media) thought it would be RG.
I was surprised that T-Rich wasn't involved more. He runs so strong - similar to our RB. The Skins were playing the run just like the Browns were but getting the ball into his hands as much as possible would have been a goal of mine.

I thought the Shannihan's coached a great game too. I was really impressed.
Would like to say that about my own team sometime.
I just think Weeden is a square peg in the round hole that is the West Coast Offense, and I don't think Shurmur is any kind of top NFL innovator in any way, shape or form.
The Shannihans designed a one-week offense that was perfect for Cousins, after completely changing their offense from last year to suit RGIII. The good coaches keep changing and innovating and adapting to the players ... Belichick's team this year resembles the one in 2001 in no way.
Yet here we are, the last team running a pure WCO, an offense that was great in the 90s but that no one has won a Super Bowl with since 2002.
Get rid of everything fucking Holmgren touched ... all this stupid WCO bullshit, all of the coaches, anybody associated with Holmgren his agent or that ancient offense. Chuck it all and get a young buck in here that has his own ideas and is willing to adapt to the players we have.
We just spent first rounders on Richardson and Weeden and second rounders on Gordon and Little and we have them all in a bullshit offense that gets old coaches a paycheck but doesn't make the players stars.
We draft at the top of the draft every year, we have talent ... we just have no direction, no innovation, no edge to where there is any kind of confidence that we are going to become one of the elite teams despite our constant high draft picks.
Blow this shit up, Mr. Banner. Get rid of everything from the previous administration, burn every piece of paper Holmgren brought into the building.
We need to start fresh and build our own identity. There is some good young talent here, last not waste it for another minute in this bullshit system that simply isn't working.

Your forgetting that Mr Banner was part of this system in Philly...so I dont see it disapearing anytime soon...get use to poor drafting with Lombardi on board...wont matter who the coach is...the team will still suck...BOOK IT!!

I know exactly who Mr. Banner is and I think he is smart enough to let this team take a bold new direction.
Banner is not a coach/philosophy guy like Holmgren. He's a bottom line guy.

We need a bottom line guy. I hope he hires a coach that will use the talent we have, not put in some antiquated system that doesn't fit the talent we have

Zombo, I understand your frustration. I really do. But, if theres one thing Ive learned, its things must be constant and steady for things to work. For example, Kubiak was almost fired 100 times in Houston, yet now look at them. Skins finally keep a coach for longer than 3 years and its paid off. I think consistency is a must and a coach needs at least 3 years. HOWEVER, I do think Shurmers offense is from 1993. So I would change the coaching. But I wouldnt change the players. Trich gets 2 carries in the 2nd half and they were up 14-10 at halftime? Hows that make sense? Secondly, every SINGLE run Trich has, its right up the middle with 8 guys on D stacked in the box. I think with a good coach, Cleveland would be a really good team, and Im not kidding at all.
Yes, Weeden is a question mark, but lets see what he can do in his 2nd year, and maybe under a better offense. Weeden is used to a spread offense, like New England ran last year. Why not run it? Trich is a great pass catcher out of the backfield. If Weeden ran a hurry-up spread offense, it would be explosive. I guess they just thought because Weeden was older he would transition better to the NFL, but if you give him a completely different offense and dont let him have that bridge to help him transition, its not going to work well until he adjusts.
I dont see him regressing either, I think there were some real bright spots he had yesterday. The long bomb was a great pass and the last drive before the half was perfect. The interceptions were a fault of him telegraphing the throws, and not understanding where the zone LB or DB was, but that can be coached.
Hes a gunslinger, put him in a spread offense with Trich getting 25 carries a game and also a bunch of checkdowns, and you would see a big difference. Weeden has the talent, I just dont know if he has the heart. I always say, since baseball was his first sport/choice, I question if he has the fire that the great QBs do. Same thing with Tannehill. Tannehill doesnt even know what teams belong to what divisions in the NFL, I dont care what anyone tells me, he doesnt have the passion that others before him did. Either way, with a new offense that caters to the gun slinger, spread mentality, Weeden would thrive.
Im surprised you feel this way Zombo, Ive been reading these boards since last draft and you always been a Weeden supporter.
I do have one question, were you guys happy that you got Weeden with that reach of a pick? Dont you guys think he would have been there in the 2nd or 3rd round even? I cant understand why Holmgren reached for him. Riley Reiff, Decastro, and Hightower all went after Weeden. I just think you could have had him in a later round, and got an elite OT/OG or Hightower. Do you guys feel the same?
Also, how do you guys feel about Atlanta giving you all those draft picks for Julio Jones? Would you rather have Julio? Or did the players you guys receive you feel work out? Im just curious, since I dont know all the players you got.

I'm not a big fan of Weeden right now, but if you could fucking read you could see where I said he was a square peg in a round hole in this offense and that I think at the very least we continue to go with him because there is no one in the draft that excites me. We just need an entire new system that utilizes our talent instead of trying to make it form to a certain philosophy. Why don't you try reading what I am saying, dicktits?

If you like a QB, you like a QB, you can never reach high enough if it turns out to be the right guy. I loved the Jones trade and I don't blame Holmgren/Heckert for taking a shot at Weeds in the first round if they were sold on him. We had nothing at the position. You gotta take shots.
I'm just done with this whole system and staff that Holmgren brought in, I don't think they cut it in the 2012 and I think we could do better.
Now go back to your hole because your team sucked for years and your opinion on ours is not enlightening anybody.

Now go back to your hole because your team sucked for years and your opinion on ours is not enlightening anybody.

Not sure if serious? lol
Anyways, yea, I never claimed to be an expert. And first and foremost, you DID say in another thread about blowing up the entire team, not just the coaches. I think the thread was titled "Not working." Secondly, I didnt mean any disrespect, nor did I mean any type of hostility, so I dont know why I was getting the name calling and hostility back at me? Couldnt tell if you were joking or not. Was honestly just making some talk/conversation. Regardless, my whole point was, if you blow up the team and keep rebuilding, it just starts all over. The teams that suffer through the bad years for long periods of time (like the Texans) will finally get it right, IF the coaching is good.
Never claimed to be an expert and sure as hell never said you didnt know anything about football or that I knew more than you? I actually thought you DID know something about football, hence my reply to try to SPEAK football TALK with you... But, maybe because so many people are a**holes in this world that automatically you think Im trying to be a d*ick?
And yes I do agree with you on the coaching point, just not the blowing up of the players with Trich and Weeden point.
And I did read what you were saying, maybe I mixxed in what you said in the other thread, but you did say to blow up players at one point. If Im mistaken and saw it was someone else, then my apology, but by all means, you really feel you need to call people over the net names when they arent even arguing with you? Heck man, if anything, I was doing the opposite and agreeing with you.
I will go back to my whole. So funny how some of you guys are. I havent talked an ounce of $*&^, been nothing but respectful, just because I know how it is when a fan from another team is on my forums talking smack or being disrespectful, and yet still, you get hostile and call names for absolutely no reason? Im assuming you took my questions and opinions as me acting like a smart a&$ even though if you read ALL my posts Ive posted on this board, Ive never acted like that once, and always enjoyed you and your fellow fans input and opinions. Its a forum, theres football conversation. I thought it would kill some time to get into a football conversation with you and/or another fan that wanted to answer.
If at any time you see me being any type of jerk or "know-it-all" in my statement/question then please point it out, because that surely wasnt my intent.
So maybe you should re-read my post, Zombo. Because you really got that one wrong. But, then again, I dont blame you for being so hostile and defensive. When Steeler and Raven fans have done nothing but come on here and talk &*$# for years, I guess it just makes you that way. Too bad, because there are actually some people who just enjoy talking football.

Well, who the hell are you? I can look around the league and see what works and what doesn't. Some guys can come in and change the culture in one year if there is good talent somewhere.
You sound like a stupid fucking Steeler fan ... "My team's good so now I am an expert on how to build a team"
What the fuck makes you think you anything more about football than I do?
Well, isn't that what I just said?
So you agree with me .. so what are you pontificating about?

Feel what way? I just said to get rid of the fucking system and the coaches, not the players.

Yeah, I ripped Weeden and Richardson in another thread, but I didn't say to replace them.
Get them in a system that at least gives them a chance to impress, because we are stuck with them for now. Richardson is our running back, and there are no QBs that are coming out that are worth starting over with so you go with Weeden or McCoy, and Weeden has the higher ceiling of the two.
But honestly, until we get assfuck Shurmur out of here, who knows what we really have? Holmgrens gone, so blow this shit up, he's the only one who believed in it. And I am talking about the system and the coaches, not the players.
As for you, you are sticking around way too long after a loss, so why don't you give us a couple weeks before your share anymore insight with us, it's nothing personal, just shut the fuck up, we lost and I'm pissed and the last thing I need is some fucking Redskin fans' thoughts on my team.
