OK, so, there are two weeks left in this season. And for what it worth, the New Year's Resolution for about half the NFL teams may be to hire a new Head Coach.

That Grim Reaper that is often depicted as being the end of the old year and in with the new may be joined by The Queen of Hearts who will be anxious to lop off more than a few heads of NFL coaches.

As I see it, all of the following should not have a restful New Year's Eve sleep, as they could be up for replacement:

    Chan Gailey Buffalo

    Rex Ryan Jets

    Andy Reid Eagles

    Ron Rivera Panthers

    Ken Whisenhunt Cardinals

    Lovie Smith Bears

    Pat Shurmur Browns

    Jason Garrett Cowboys

    Jim Schwartz Lions

    Mike Mularkey Jaguars

    Romeo Crennell Chiefs

    Sean Payton Saints

    Dennis Allen Raiders

    Norv Turner Chargers

    Mike Munchak Titans

I think the rest are safe.

So.....here is the fun part. Give your odds on any or all of these HC's losing their job. Say, give a percentage, like: Bill Belichick 0%

        Chan Gailey Buffalo 24%

Rex Ryan Jets 30% From a football standpoint he probably should be gone....but the owner likes the publicity he brings more than he likes winning.

Andy Reid Eagles 98% he will probably resign on his own

        Ron Rivera Panthers 20%

Ken Whisenhunt Cardinals 50%..personally I think it would be a mistake to let him go.

Lovie Smith Bears 15% I think the injury bug hit them hard.

Pat Shurmur Browns 95% oddly I think there is still a slim chance he stays.

Jason Garrett Cowboys 20%....and only if Cowboys lose last two games. If they win: 0%

Jim Schwartz Lions 50%. Bad mojo here.

Mike Mularkey Jaguars 50%. The owner will want this team to pick up Tebow. This coach doesn't like the idea. He will be fired if he doesn't go along.

Romeo Crennell Chiefs 10%....after the way he handled the murder/suicide issue Chiefs will not let him go (even if they should)

        Sean Payton Saints 13%

Dennis Allen Raiders anywhere from 0-100%. Its the Raiders!'

Norv Turner Chargers 99.9%. In fact, I think the announcement may have already been made. Both he and the GM are out.

        Mike Munchak Titans 10%

I think the rest are safe.

OK I think there are some no Brainers who is getting fired, but who will replace them??

Philly- Out Any Reid, in Chip Kelly you can take that to the bank

NY Jets- Out Rex Ryan, in Josh McDaniels- There owner would do something like this

Cleveland- Out Pat Shurmer, in Nick Saban- Biggest story in the off season is that kelly and Saban both make jump to NFL

Jax- out Mike Mularkey, in Mccoy

Arz- Out Ken Whisenhunt, in NO IDEA

I can see the Jets doing that....again. Just to piss off Belichick and Kraft.

Cleveland- Out Pat Shurmer, in Nick Saban- Biggest story in the off season is that kelly and Saban both make jump to NFL

I personally don't think it is beyond the realm of possibility.

Jax- out Mike Mularkey, in Mccoy

Will McCoy go along with the Tebow trial and error?

Arz- Out Ken Whisenhunt, in NO IDEA

They need a QB more than anything. More than a new HC.

(Honestly....if Whisenhunt were let go from AZ, I wouldn't mind seeing him here as a candidate for the Browns job)

I won't give individual odds, but I'll break it down into IMO the for sures, maybes and safe:

For sure fires: Shurmer, Reid, Turner, Crennell: These are all pretty straight forward to me. We all know Shurmer is awful, Reid and Turner collapsed this year, and God knows ol' Romeo is the only coach out there who may be worse than Shurmer.

Maybes: Garrett, Whisenhunt, Ryan, Gailey, Rivera, Mularky: If Garrett doesn't make the playoffs he's out. The thing about Whisenhunt is he has hands down the worst QB corps in the NFL. How much that falls on him I can't say. Ryan could go simply because it's NY, although I'd bet he stays. I talked to a buddy of mine about Gailey and apparently people love his play calling but they just don't have the good players. I live in Charlotte and a month ago I would have said Rivera is gone. But it seems like he's finally understanding how to adjust Cam's game to the NFL so I think he stays. Lastly, i don't know a darn thing about the Jax coach but 2-14 even in a first year is grounds for firing.

The rest of the above will stay. I know Schwartz and the Lions were a huge let down but the guy took an 0-16 team to the playoffs last year. No way he gets the boot. I'd bet my left nut as well Peyton stays as the saints coach seeing he's arguably the best coach in the NFL.

Its all over the place that Chip Kelly would like to go to the NFL and his great friends with Owner of the Eagles and if there is one place Chip Kelly would coach is Philly. It is also a perfect fit for him for his spread Offense with speed. Philly has a TON of speed with Maclin, Jackson and Mccy.

If so then do they keep Vick? He would probably fit that style of play, fair to say?
