Mike Lombardi Hired
-
This is the hire that ensure we will continue to be 4-12 until he's fired...Im very upset by this. Hiring this incompetant tool just ensures final demise of the Cleveland Browns.

The demise already occurred (Isn't "final demise" redundant?) I'm hoping for no further delays in resurrection.

FUCK!! Say it ain't so!
-
yeah idk his past drafts were pure shit!
-
-
Hopefully this guy is a glorified cap specialist and is nowhere near our war room come draft day.
-
I don't think Lombardi is going to have final say on draft picks, but who knows.
First move Browns make now will be getting Brian Hoyer or trading for Ryan Mallet.
-
Let's face it, ti doesn't really matter who Haslam and Banner hire to
be a janitor, personal file maintainer......
The last thing the Browns needed to do, was bring in some old baggage.
blech. And Lombardi was bad with working with the cap.
He'll be more of a secretary to Banner.

I worry about a bean counter being in charge of a football team with banner.
But I guess I don't know enough about Lombardi to understand why everyone hates him so badly.
Is it just the Bernie Kosar animosity from years gone by or something more?

No, in fact I understand that BK may be one of the guys in his corner...in fact, rumor has it that Lombardi could bring BK into the fold in some capacity, BKs health allowing.

Not a lot of quality players there. Hell, it looks like his best pick was a kicker...Janikowski.
or maybe Asoghmwa

Jarmarcus Russell is also on that resume.
Jesus Christ, you think Al Davis would have let him pick anyone else?Jarmarcus Russell is also on that resume.

Redundant, that may be. But the bottom line is..."This asshole sucks" and the futility will remain. And I
ll just bet if this team does not break 500. in year 2 of the process...Banner and Lomtardi will be looking for jobs.

Jarmarcus Russell is also on that resume.
He wasn't the one who picked him. He started after that. Search it out.

Let's hope it says on the draft room door "Mike Lombardi is not allowed."
-
Its a done deal so there is no use in crying about it..
I am going to give the brass the benefit of the doubt for the time being as there is nothing we can do as fans but hope jimmy and joe are right about both chud and lombardi..
We have an owner that wants to win so i will back that horse at least until it becomes obvious that it is lame..
Cleveland Browns Forever!
