49ers Walker, other top TE available, is going to the Titans to replace Cook. Looks like Cook or Tier B TE. Crazy part though is that the TE FA class is so deep that grabbing a Tier B guy isn't a bad thing.
-
Quentin Groves is visiting the Browns tomorrow. Played for Horton in Arizona. Rotational guy, knows the system, and had his best season last year. Good depth.
-
Minn resigned Loadholt
Titans signed Levitre
Browns are letting Maiava walk - good riddance, what a horrible pick.
Antoine Winfield, Kevin Walter both cut
-
Anybody heard anything on j. Finley?
-
Not even looking like we are offering Cook anything, maybe just called to gauge his interest.
EDIT: But as soon as I post this Browns get mentioned as someone seriously pursuing Cook.
-
Broncos sign Vasquez
Bills cut Fitzpatrick
-
1 hour down in free agency shaping up for the Browns to take a guard early in the draft. perfect scenario

I would rather have fitzpatrick as a backup over McCoy or Anderson. IF those are my choices!
Maybe Antoine Winfield will want to come home. Not saying he is the best option but he is from Akron.

Ellerbe to Miami out of nowhere

Dolphins got Ellerbe. Agreement not signed yet. They are trying to get Cook also!

God dam dolphins, hope banner drove the price up on them.

Well, it may be a little premature but it seems like we aren't making quite the splash some had anticipated.
Good.
Kruger was a fantastic sign. We don't need to sign an abundance of players to "make a splash". What we need to do is address our positions of need with the right signings.
I'd love to get Cook, but it's looking doubtful. Myers would also be great.

The Dolphins are fucking us.
-
Kevin Walter cut, best blocking WR in the league. Wanted to sign him last time around.

Yeah and reports are that the fins are in the running for J. Cook
Im all for spending and signing but not phil savage spending.
I didnt think the fins had a ton to spend either though

Colts sign Gosder Cherilus, OT and Greg Toler, CB
Chiefs sign Anthony Fasano, TE and Chase Daniel, QB
-
$13 Million for Wallace is INSANE IMO!!! Glad we didn't sign him for that.
Let's go get Alexander!
Chase Daniel is a great pickup for the Chiefs.
