Ogbonnaya Resigned

I posted it first technically, but it does deserve its own thread, he is a good 3rd down back.

Ugh, Obi is nothing special at all. Cribbs would have been a better third down back than Obi...
The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one. -Mark Twain- "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." -Mark Twain- -

Id actually have to respectfully disagree with that statement. I think OBI is underrated and could beat out Hardesty for the 2nd position. He was one of the few bright spots in the horrible 2011 season. The dude can certainly play and probably could play RB better than Cribbs could.

Without obi Hillis never steps back on the field in 2011. As soon as obi was hitting stride and Hillis was an afterthought it was the fastest recovery for a guy that no return in sight. It was almost pathetic " oh shit he just rushed for 100 yrds I'm healthy TA DAA."

I remember when we signed him that year all our backs were whacked out. Zombo nicknamed him oblongbanana and we all thought jeez, who is this guy, have things got that bad. But, I think the browns make the right move with this guy. he is a good 3rd down back and has shown good awareness and movement several times when called upon.

TRich-Hardesty->Ob is a great RB corp. They all complement each other well, and Ob's has a superior ability to get open in the passing game

i like Chris Obi...always have since day 1. good move by the Browns.

I like the way Trent got in his ear about the browns - speaks volumes about our ambition for this season. Be part of something bro! thats what i read into it. I am already booking time off to come back for the playoffs
