My wife faxes the Amish all the time. They don't do computers, apparently a phone line and fax machine is ok though on a work basis.

  • i know people that still use dot matrix printers because of the need for duplicate copies(the old triplicate carbon paper forms), instead of just making duplicate copies.

  • Elvis Dumervil. 4'9" 112 LBS. 864 Sacks.

I say we steal him, why not. Lets just field a defense of 7 OLBs and DEs.

  • SUCK IT ELWAY

    Figures with the hypocrite amish.

Anyone else have the feeling that the patriot's are going to snag him, wouldnt surprise me.

  • Call him up, it can't hurt. We can offer him more than the Broncos can.. the action of cutting him put an additional 4M charge onto the Broncos cap for this year, so an offer of 6 should be able to get him. Can he cover TE's?

Then they would have to get on a computer open their email and print it out. Instead of it just printing as a fax....

    EchoSign from a phone. Certified.

  • Yeah, this is embarrasing... but not nearly as much as letting both Cribbs and Dawson, both pillars of the community and leaders on your team, walk. SMH 😡

Who fucking cares if they're pillars of the community. So we should over pay for Cribbs who is clearly on the downside of his career because the fans like him? That's a stupid ass way to run a team.

Dawson is a different story. I'd love to see him back in Cleveland but my guess is that he doesn't want to come back. His family lives in Texas and he probably wants to be closer to home. Who knows until he ends up signing somewhere because no one is saying anything about him.

Looking at stats below, I dont think Dawson has much choice as to where he could move so that he could be closer to his family, think for the sake of a 30 min flight he would rather stay with the Browns, just depends on the other hand whether the Browns want to resign him.

  • I'm thinking he goes to Houston.

Closer to home obviously and it's also a chance to play on a winning team.

  • Banner has been mum on the Dawson situation but said today that when Phil signs somewhere, it will be clear why he's been reluctant to address Phil Dawson's situation.

To me, that sounds as if Phil cannot decide whether to retire or move closer to home. It sounds to me like we don't have a dog in this fight.

Sounds that way to me too. They're leaving him alone to decide what he wants to do and I would imagine telling him that he can always come back if he wants to but keeping quiet until he makes up his mind.

My guess is that theres maybe a 5% chance he comes back to Cleveland. Most likely he signs elsewhere or he just says screw it and retires. He's had a great career, made plenty of money and he seems like a smart dude so he's probably set for life. Maybe he's tired of the work that goes into being an NFL player. I'm sure we'll find out more before too long.

Maybe just for Phil's sake the NFL should expand and put a team in San Antonio.

Since when do they have the cap space? Wasn't that the point of all the cuts they made?

Houston drafted Kicker in 5th round last year who went on Injured Reserve with groin tear, so depends guess what his status is, Shayne Graham who they signed to cover played well, so who knows. I cant see any other logical solution, so maybe he will just retire or take a year off.
