how would 'that guy' know that your girlfriend isn't that good in bed? do you tell your friends shit like that?

even if you break up with a chick she is still off limits to your friends.

on the man rule list for sure.

  • So ... we broke up with Momass because she was no good in bed and now Jacksonville is fucking her?

Didn't they take sloppy seconds on Norwood and Robiskie too?

Keenan McCardell worked out pretty well for them... but that was back when the Browns moved.

  • Momass was a good receiver, better than Robo. He ran good routes and caught the ball nicely. He just always took some of the nastiest hits I've seen a WR take. I'm not upset about him not staying and signing elsewhere, and I really like Mo a lot. He's a nice guy and a team player. It's just that we have players that can fill his spot and we don't lose a lot of upside in the process. I like Little and Gordon at WR. I think Mo would have been a good #2 Wr but Little fills that role.

You see, I don't mind when we release players that it makes sense to release.

Considering where he was drafted- have to consider him an underperformer at best. That he was better than Robiski- who has to be considered a total bust isn't saying much. Couldn't stay healthy either. Too expensive to keep around as the #4 wr.

Still never know what he could have done in a healthy offense with good qb play

Didn't want to offend PG, but a lot of those hits MoMass took were attributable to lousy qb play. The best qbs can usually anticipate the defense, and avoid setting up their WRs to take kill shots.

Exactly, like the drag route McCoy threw MoMass when he got popped by Harrison.

  • Raiders continue to strike free agency gold:

    Raiders sign Usama Bin Young

The Raiders continue to collect bargain-priced defensive talent, and it helps if you have a connection.

Today’s acquisition, as announced by the team, was veteran safety Usama Young.

Young spent the last two years with the Browns, but was with the Saints (and secondary coach Dennis Allen, now the Raiders head coach) prior to that.

He joins former Saints teammate Tracy Porter there, along with a lot of new parts as they try to rebuild on the cheap.

  • "Brady Quinn beats out Matt Leinart for backup job."

A headline I so dearly wanted Shep to be reading five years ago.

Brady Quinn, Seattle Seahawks agree to contract

After taking a look at four potential backups to quarterback Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks are nearing a decision.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that the team is "heading toward" signing Brady Quinn on the heels of Monday's four-passer tryout in Seattle, according to a source informed of the decision.

Quinn worked out for Seattle brass along with Matt Leinart, Seneca Wallace and Tyler Thigpen. It doesn't say much for Leinart -- coach Pete Carroll's former quarterback at USC -- that he'd lose out to Quinn, who already has flamed out with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns.

Thigpen and Wallace offer read-option experience, but Quinn might have more upside with some solid coaching. There isn't much available on the free-agent market, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Seahawks draft and groom a more natural fit for their offense than Quinn or any of the above.

UPDATE: The Seahawks later announced Tuesday that they have agreed to a contract with Quinn.

  • I wonder if they were the other team reportedly interested in McCoy? Makes you wonder how much we could have got in a trade. Probably no more than we actually got πŸ™‚

  • A little off topic here... Unsympathetic, you're up in the mock draft brother. 😎
