Sucks this has to be on a Thursday, at like 2am UK time. By the time we get round to picking it'll be gone 3am. I remember going to sleep last year thinking "please don't draft Weeden or another QB, let's give Colt some decent weapons and some time in an offense he now knows, with a full season behind him." Now I'll go to sleep thinking "please don't draft Smith or another QB, let's give Weeden some decent weapons and some time in an offense that suits him, with a full season behind him."

Just figured I'd make the title more to the point...

I'll be at the stadium with 6 friends Thursday night, i'll prob be upstairs sitting at the bar near the former players signing autographs.

Cal & I would really enjoy personally meeting some of the folks we know through this board. We plan on getting there at 6pm, eating & enjoying the draft. If any of you want to share a beer with me, a root beer with Cal, or just shoot the bull & discuss our Brownies, please let us know.
Hope to see you there!

REMINDER....This thread is about who may be going to the draft party. There are other threads for draft pick choices.
Is it too much to ask that folks post relating to a thread's subject?

What you and Cal need to do is put it on your agenda to join everyone for the mass Tailgate party & reuinion weekend when Howie & G-Man come into town this fall. I've been bugging Cal to join us for years.

Mr. Hoorta**************************************************************************************Hey, I tried to go two times. But the first time, years ago, now... a tornado came through, and flat out dropped trees
on all the roads leading to the expressway, and then I was still going to go, but I saw a tomato hornworm on one of our tomato plants,
and it was so big I had to go get a baseball bat to knock it onto the ground so I could spray it. That wasn't my fault.
And, the other time, also years ago, I was out checking for poachers in our woods, and there wasn't any....but just as I was
going to head back and drive up and go to that tailgate, I saw a sasquatch for a couple of seconds, and tracked him for a half hour -
but didn't see him again... and when I walked back to the ATV and rode back to the barn, a skunk was walking in the big barn door doorway,
and by the time the skunk wandered off, it was too late to go to the tailgate. That's twice I would have been there, but ran out of time.
I need a Duck Dynasty Uncle Si t-shirt that says "95 percent of my stories are true"....
I'll make it there one day.

Cal says he will only come to the tailgate if he can drive his tractor there.
And, hopefully, it is a John Deere...and not a Case.
Let me explain: in my family we have "tractor wars" without any of us ever having owned a tractor. My mother's maiden name was Deere. In fact, my uncle since deceased was in fact named John Deere. Somewhere along the line I am related to the John Deere....but not so close it does me any good.
On the other hand, my wife attended J.I. Case High school in Wisconsin. ( I believe Case and IH have merged since)
