Browns Looking At At Trade With The Dolphins

CLEVELANDwantsPLAYOFFS

Great acquisition. Way better than Norwood, who is as small as Benjamin just slower.

Bess is a crisp route runner with great hands who we by the way signed to a 3 year deal.

And I agree I hope it was the 5th rd pick and not fourth or third.

KentLife

we swapped or 4th round and another pick (either 5th or 6th) so 104 for 111 and Davone Bess

In Bess trade #Browns send 4th No. 104 & 5th No. 164 to Miami for 4th No. 111 & a 7th No. 217; Lombardi says 3yr extension not finalized

cambridgeho

Damn good deal. Bess has been really solid the last 4 years on a shitty team.

Hearing that we gave up our 4th round pick for what I'm guessing will be our #4 or #5 WR. Little, Gordon, Benjamin followed by Bess and David Nelson from Buffalo.

No he will be the #3 WR easily. He's got too much exp. to ride the pine... IMO GREAT pickup for us!

Harry Buffalo

Would have been pissed if we gave up anything ahead of our final 5th rounder. Just swapping back a few spots in the 4th and 5th. I like the sound of that.

Shit that sounds like a flat out kick ass move for us!! I love that shit!!

Solid slot receiver. Good move.

Excellent value trade. I like it

Erie Dawg

give him the #16 jersey and you wont even know the he left. looks like he has some great feet and knows how to run past the sticks for 1st downs. looks like we fucking stole him for a couple swapped picks.

Canton Mike

This move borders on unbelievable! We gave up NO picks....Count me as a happy ol' Browns fan!!

If its a 5th then it is a steal. We also have Nelson and Norwood and Benjamin, I think Cooper will be let go for sure now. . These little trades for Bess and Dion Lewis are very good additions for us

We will release cooper and Norwood now

Tim Couch Pulls Out

We swapped 4ths and the gave them our 5th for their 7th.

We swapped 4ths, gave our later 5th at 164, they gave us Bess and a 7th.

Nice steal by the Browns, let's see what kind of money they pay him.

NFL Films piece on Bess from 2011.

Good stuff right there, a lot of those stories in sports. As for us getting him, he is a steal for what we did the trade for. I know A.J Green is a beast, but with gordon and Little and Wallace and Boldin leaving their teams, it looks like we have the best WR core now.

Bess, 27 also brings a veteran presence a work ethic if you will to the wr group.

Not a bad move by Banner et al

BadNewsBrowns

Reports that Browns give Bess 3-year extension, $11.5M. $5.75M guaranteed

Bess passes physical.

Great Pickup!!! Most are not looking at our draft and factoring him in but we reaped him through a draft trade. We got him on the cheap as well. Here is a great video nfl films did on him. Def a feelgood story
