I had spoken with !someone about doing a cruise ship long ago. From what I was told they treat the entertainment like crap. Terrible accommodations down in the hold with the Dominicans and you aren't allowed to fraternize with the customers. Which I thought was odd. This guy said even if the family invites you to have dinner with them it was prohibited. I have no idea, and don't assume, if that is the common operations on all cruise ships though.
as for white squall it was written by Canadian singer songwriter Stan Rogers. He died in 83 but wrote some of the greatest songs about the Great Lakes. I've been wanting to cover that song for years.

I get errors when I try to do the tags manually since the forum changeover. It says that the image extension is not allowed, but if I hit the button to add an image, it works just fine. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Negative. I use the mobile site so I always manually enter the tags.

Cruise ships are famously the worst gig in the world for stand-up comedians. It's a step above open mic night, below everything else.
