  • What ever happened to the subject of this thread? A few quotes? really????

Meanwhile, at the thread where we have been listing dozens. soon to be hundreds. of really

stupid things liberals emote without using their not-working brains...

we have a whole LOT of material. At the rate liberals say stupid stuff, it may go on

    for a long time.

Well look at me for example Steve. My work directly results in thousands of pounds of ozone depleting and global warming hydrocarbons being pumped into the atmosphere. Scientists reckon 1/3 of the species on earth will become extinct if the temperature rises just a couple of degrees, but do I put a bunch of penguins before my family's need to eat? I do not.

  • The difference here is Cal, you are so demented in the head when it comes to politics that anything anyone you deem a liberal says you think is "stupid". Half of what you posted is just people misspeaking as well.

Like I said, the best quotes are full thoughts that the person meant to say. I'm also not saying there aren't any crazy liberal quotes you've posted.

You've obviously got a lot of time on your hands. Bunker does for sure, since he's unemployed and has no family, but the irony is, literally everything you say here fits the thread description. You're really not helping your side by talking. Especially bunker.

  • It's hard for one guy with a family to keep up with two elderly fellas who have, literally, nothing to do but scour the internet for hours cutting and pasting things

You post a thread about things stupid conservatives say and now you're getting spanked. While I agree that much of what has been quoted by both sides are mere gaffes, you need to come to grips with the fact that liberals have the monopoly on stupidy that comes from as you put it "full thoughts". There is nothing on the conservative side that even comes close to "islands capsizing", 2 Vietnams", that "Arizona is far removed from the border", or not knowing that the president of the US serves only 2 terms.

Even the mere gaffes are owned by libtards. Deal with it.

You claim you are down the middle, yet create a thread about stupid things conservatives say? Why not stupid things "politicians" say? You're not fooling anyone, you're as lib as they come...disingenous and a fraud.

  • Cal already made a "Stupid Liberals" thread after he got butt hurt because I posted a quite by Alex Jones that was one of the most Retarded things I've ever heard. I decided then to edit the name of my thread. Cal is the one that actually relates to the end of your post

Yeah there's others too. Science just discovered a new ape that literally has blue balls. But the logical fallacy there is just because we just discovered them doesn't mean they won't go extinct

Bunker when will you realize that you are a joke? Nobody takes you seriously enough for you to spank anyone. Remember when you got banned? And had to come back as 'Stewy'? That's all I think of when you post anything. Then I chuckle, then I go about my life and you cease to exist until I check this board again.

Fallacy? Gee I thought you believed in the theory of evolution...

anyway if we are truly doomed then we'll see it within our lifetime. Unless of coursethe scientists are over stating their case. We will see.

  • I don't care either way to be honest. I was just illustraring the point that even though we can love animals we don't give a shit about them when there's money to be made.

Well as for myself I believe there is a middle ground. Something between a complete slash and burn and Peta.

You are just following biological protocol.

We as a species are hardwired to like new and technological things like tools, toys, etc. its how we secured our role as an apex species so we prize them in our mating habits. Securing a nice house, a nice car, and nice toys and the best tools is attractive. Currency is the system we use to gain those items. So yes most healthy functional humans would sell out some worm in the brazil for their own imediate biological urges. The ability to see the scope of our effects as a species is a new concept, and it goes against some of our deeper urges.

"Let the kids be innocent. Let them dream. Let them play. Let them enjoy their life. You don't have to force this sexuality stuff into their life at such a point. It was never intended to be that way. They'll find out soon enough. And, in fact, ... mankind has existed for a pretty long time without anyone ever having to give a sex-ed lesson to anybody. And now we feel like, oh gosh, people are too stupid to unless we force them to sit and listen to instructions. It's just incredible.

And there is a natural law that parents should be involved in education, they should know about, they should be part of the training - that's a law of nature; Alan Keyes was just talking about it this weekend when we were together. That is such an important part of nature and yet that is the very thing that some of these liberals want to take away.

And it reminds me so much of the summer that I was an exchange student in the Soviet Union back in the Seventies and I was shocked when they were saying 'no, the children don't belong to parents, they belong to the state.' And if any parent said anything in front of their children negative about the wonderful Soviet Union, then we will take their children away and give them to somebody more deserving. And I just thought how horribly shocking that was, that of course parents were the ones who love the children, not the state. And I thought thank God that we don't have that in our country.

And now I've seen this coming with a lady from MSNBC saying "hey, children belong to the state" ... and it just sent chills because it took me back to the Seventies when that's what the Soviet Union used to say and we know how well that worked out."

  • assuming that you even read it, maybe you could tell us what you found bothersome.

  • The first paragraph. I don't think he knows what sex Ed actually is. I also think letting kids just learn for themselves is a pretty poor policy. Plus he connected it back to soviet Russia...

  • Yes sex education really has taught the current generation a lot. LMAO.

Well when you target audience consists of people who would blow Reagan, you kind of have to talk like that to connect with them.

Yeah, Bristol Palin, especially. I don't have a kid right now because I was taught about condoms, both by my parents and the schools I attended. Because I went to Catholic schools, they told me that using condoms was wrong. I chose not to listen to them. Abstinence-only and guilt trips of sin are no way to educate a child about the world and they're ineffective.

  • The truth is, as a kid, if your parents tell you something is bad and wrong it makes you want to do that thing.

Not every kid has a burning sense of rebellion...
