    And if you are going for later career options, Don Shula and Chuck Noll were Browns draftees.

  • If the Browns would have held onto Atkins, Marshall, Davis, Mitchell, Lebeau and Jordan ... it's scary how good they they could have been in the late 50's and through the 60's ... with Lenny Dawson quarterbacking perhaps.

    Paul Brown brought in enormous talent, but he sure tossed some of it away ... of course, back then, roster sizes were a lot smaller, and if a guy didn't develop in two years you probably had to cut bait.

    Though, with LeBeau, and may a couple of others of these, he never made it out of his first training camp with the Browns.

    this was interesting. i didn't realize a few of those players were Browns draftees.
