  • Now that he's dishing hacking secrets, which are probably some of the things he leaked to the Guardian and the Post and they refused to publish them, he's now officially not disclosing wrongdoing against Americans, or possible Constitutional violations, and just disclosing secrets.

Even though that's hardly a secret.

Well you posed the question sir. What do you say?

    WSS

  • He'd have to have more information than we currently know about. None of the stuff he's telling us is really new. I don't particularly like it, but it's not new.

  • I heard on the radio this morning that he disappeared in Russia. Was supposed to be on a flight from Moscow to Ecuador for asylum.

  • Just read where Snowden admitted that he accepted to job TO

HAVE ACCESS TO THAT SURVEILLANCE INFORMATION.

That's premeditated, as in spying against his own country. = traitor.

Have we mentioned here, that he is a dumpocrat, and voted for Obamao ?????

Yep, Snowden is a LIB. And made a terrible, irrational, emotional decision.

A real American would have gone to a congressman that he figured was trustworthy to acton the information through the system.

But going public in a foreign country? His lib emotionalism really got the best of him.

BTW, didn't Obamao release classified information when it suited him? Toss em both in Gitmo on principle.

Too bad for snowden, that he isn't black, and doesn't look like he could be Obamao's son, eh?

I heard the second stop was Cuba. Fine young man.

Still doesn't that picture just make you want to punch him in the face anyway?

Sorry, Cuba was what I heard. Anyways, I think the international community needs to step up and defend this guy. I know for a fact that Fox News and Company would be celebrating this guy had he leaked information that the Chinese wanted kept under wraps.

  • Uh yeah that's kind of the difference between a secret agent and a traitor.

    WSS

  • Traitor? Whistleblower? What's the difference? There are international laws that protect people who do what he did.

  • No. He worked as a contractor with a high security clearance. He agreed to terms and went through an extensive investigation. He violated the law and knowingly so. He deserves a severe punishment.

International law has no basis in this. He violated USA law. And knowingly so. He ran and is still running. Hope they catch his ass and fry him.

And the people who leak documents from the Chinese aren't breaking Chinese law? It's against US law to break an NDA, but a guy broke that to let the world know that smoking kills people. Should those people fry too? The only difference is in where you're standing.

  • Sorry dude, you're wrong. He is a traitor and I hope they fry his ass. You don't get to pick and choose what you believe. You sign an agreement and swear to it. That is it. I guess you're too young to understand responsibility.

  • You actually DO get to pick and choose what you believe. You dont get to pick and choose what you blab about though

    Um, no. Not really.

  • It's true. He has a punchable face

Like a signed agreement means jackshit. A bunch of people signed the constitution a long time ago, people don't seem to care about that anymore.

  • Oh shit. "You're took young."

I assume you made a good point then if he's at that.

Damn young people not being as good as my generation. Inferior in every way. Stop the change!

Heaven forbid young folks start wanting government transparency and accountability! Uncle Sam can do no wrong, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a pinko secret socialist!

  • He knowingly gave away secrets. He was employed by a government contractor with a TS clearance. He broke the law. You imbeciles seem to think thats okay. I don't. Government transparency has nothing to do with it. He obviously knew what he was doing was wrong since he ran away and hid. Nothing to do with pinko, or socialist or whatever you make up in your mind. What if someone with knowledge had given away the secret attack on Osama Bin Laden? After all, we went into a foreign country without their approval and killed people. Would you also hold him in awe? And Bin Laden got away? Whether or not you agree with what the government is doing doesn't matter. Then you shouldn't sign up to work for them in the first place.

Yes, it does mean jack shit in the eyes of the law. Whether you agree or not means jack shit.
