Maybe they will see what he can do as a kickoff returner too.

I agree. He will get almost all the carries in the 4th game.

Good point Zombo.
Also, possibly the team is thinking Lewis might be better off on IR and are bringing back a guy who might fill a role catching passes out of the backfield. He clearly doesn't have the quicks Lewis has and won't break many, but maybe he is sure handed and can gain the 6-7 yards you want on a swing pass to the flats.

They cut him and picked up Maysonet on 5/21
It looks like those two will be fighting for a temporary roster spot until Hardesty gets back. Unless Chud and Norv can get a guy familiar with their system who gets cut from another squad.
