He was probably just miffed that he thought he had a chance to backup in SF and then they restructured Colt's deal and he wasn't going to play in the preseason game.

If he is backing up Rogers, then he is still thought of more highly than Vince Young, who didn't get the gig.

Plus, he fits that system. Still some Holmgren ghosts blowing around the league.
