With all the longtime Browns fans here, what trade or pickup rates as the #1 move.
(This is an attempt to talk about positive moves not crappy ones, that could be a seperate thread)
I think if Quinn pans out then the 2 #1's by savage could compete for top 5

WORST: I think Reggie White going to GB instead of the Browns...and since I'm depressed that's the move I think of.
BEST: Bernie

TOP:
1) 1978 Draft
2) USFL Pick-ups (Kevin Mack, Mike Johnson, Ice Cube McNeil, etc)
3) Ernie Davis. Unfortunately we all know what happened, but I still think it was a great move to get him. He and Brown would've been a devastating combo.
BOTTOM:
1) Trading Chip Banks to draft The Mad Dog in a Meatmarket.
2) Trading away Paul Warfield.
3) Not trading the #1 pick to the Saints, instead drafting Couch.

Mike Phipps to the Chicago Bears for a draft choice that turned out to be Ozzie Newsome.

#2 Brian Sipe (13th round?)
#3 Ozzie Newsome (didn't remember we traded for this pick)
WORST
# 1 Firing Paul Brown (how do you fire a legend? the curse begins)
# 2 Warfield for Phipps (I said it then and I say it now WTF!)
# 3 Tim Couch,Courtney Brown (how do you completely blow it two straight years?)

Worst: Byner for Oliphant.
