Browns are shopping?

Snatch Mjd or Cleveland native Cecil shorts ( who's a big cle sports fan) from jax
-
Nothing surprising here at all really.
If you can grab a player that is :
- Better than one you have
- Has more upside than one you have
- Has more longevity (younger) than one you have (may be same as above), but is at same or better skill level
- Is cheaper and at same or better skill level
- etc.
If you have an opportunity to make your Team better then why wouldn't you jump on it?

That's the thing. He's really none of those things, depending on how you match him up.
He's surely not better than Thomas. I doubt his upside is really even on par with Thomas' downside.
He is younger, but it's not as if Thomas is in the twilight of his career. He can still play for another 8-10 years.
And replacing Thomas with him is just absurd.
So then, does he replace Schwartz? He would have moved to the right side, which is a transition that some players never get over. He's older, and he really doesn't have higher upside.
I don't understand the rationale behind the move. It's great that we're attempting to be active, but being active just to be active is hardly the right move.

Shorts would be a great #2. He has big play potential and he's better when paired with another receiver (as most receivers are).

The items I listed (plus those I didn't) apply to Depth as well.
Is the guy better than Cousin?
Case closed

Closed? Has cousins played tackle this year? No? Alrighty then....
Not being dumb is kinda hard I guess...

#1 - So you think Cousins is good?
#2 - Is Cousins better than Rhodes?
#3 - Doesn't really matter to me, I was just answering the OP's question (just happened to be RT)
No worries.
-
#1 you think a career tackle can play guard? More to your question...my observation is that weeden propensity to hold the ball made the entire OL look worse than they are. Cousins is the weak link....yes....but you're hoping a tackle can play guard better is a risk at best, disaster at worse.
#2 Rhodes was the tweeter, dumbass. Monroe is the player. Doesn't parlay your credibility not knowing whom you speak of.
#3 looks like you missed the question....or simply can't read.

#1 - From what I saw last year, he sucked at OT just as much as he sucks at OG
#2 - It's irrelevant to me, I was just scanning the msg and was just answering the question in general - it the question really wasn't about one specific player (that's another item).
#3 - See # 2 = same thing.
Generally there's one on a Forum, apparently we have two.
Hey, you're a Browns fan (right?), we all want the same thing - I know it's been sucky here, but I'm not the cause of it.
If you really can't see what I'm trying to get at/point out - ignore me = easy .
-
You don't know what suck even means....cause you're simply a fantasy football fag that has no grey area. You don't know what cousins does well or struggles with, you can't analyze film or critique strengths or weaknesses, and you only watch the ball and parrot talking heads.
Simply put....you've little idea what's actually going on during a game. You tried to answer the question with a bunch of questions. Cause.....you've no fucking clue what's going on.
Have a good day.

Okay . . . well, if that's what all you have, then best wishes to you.
I would prefer to be on good terms with members of the Forum, but apparently you prefer to claim the Crown - I really thought I'd identified where that went to and dealt with it (definitely mistaken ?),
Ya know, I'm an OMF, and I know we all have bad days.
That being the case, maybe we'll be better off on another day.
Like I said, I prefer good terms, but if not, as JB just said :
Jim Brown on being back in the #Browns family: "This is where I should be. I am always going to be a Cleveland Brown
If that's not why we're here, then why are we hear?
-
Ok guys enough with the bad karma. Go Browns!

Assuming the tweet was true (always a big assumption), it would have been to use Monroe as our RT...
My guess is BLT just offerred more than us...
