Did they confirm the injury yet? I know they said they believe he tore ligaments in his knee, but waiting on an MRI.

They don't necessarily need to cut a QB. Cutting Hoyer would a be very stupid from a fan politics point of view. They could cut Bobby Rainey since they just picked up that other guy with the funky name.

Well it didn't look like they had much faith in Campbell when they jumped Hoyer over him to start.
And probably even less faith and Freeman when they shitcanned him.
I think if its a tear he's on the IR. Gone for the season anyway and hopefully Weeden steps up.
Personally I've never bonded with Weeden (as I did with McCoy Frye Couch and Quinn) nor have I had any animosity toward him. I'd like to see him too well but I won't be pissed off too badly if he doesn't.
I do think that Hoyer had a spark. So basically I want him to get better quick.

Hoyer is probably going to IR. Leaving an open spot that you would think needs to be filled with a 3rd QB of some sort.
FYI... can't do PUP once the season starts...
