  • Detroit has a shit secondary. Weeden, Cam, and Gordon are going to have a field day.

But their front 4 is lethal. Suh, Fairly, Ansah and Jones are going to demolish the tortoise Weeden.

Detroit had 1 sack this week, against the packers, who rushed for 180 yards on them. Suddenly I'm not so scared. Still, Weeden is no Aaron Rodgers. Probably not even as good as Rodgers' left arm.

But did you see the preseason game Weeden had against the Lions first string defense? He turned them into puddytats.

Will he repeat that performance? Only your hairdresser knows for sure.

  • I see a breakout game for Weeden this week. The team has momentum, and are very confident not only in themselves, but in each other. Weeden has confidence in Gordon, Cameron, and Bess; plus, he had a few nice throws to Little last week so maybe our WR corp is developing some good chemistry. Our O-line has improved their pass protection over the past 2 games and things really look like their coming together. Here's what my gut says today:

    My early line: Weeden - 28-45 315 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT

Early game prediction: Browns 27 - Lions 20

  • The game I got more optimisitic about this past weekend is the NE game.

Not even Brady can polish that collection of WR turds against a solid D...

And we can always pray for rain...

  • We will lose.

  • i think it will be a good game and a great test.

whether or not our OL can protect weeds long enough for his slow ass to get rid of the ball. (find out if norv has worked with weeden on making his reads faster hence getting rid of the ball faster).

whether or not our dbs can cover their receivers long enough to let our pass rush disrupt stafford. ESPECIALLY if johnson DOES play.

whether or not we can muster over 100 yards rushing and 300 yards passing against the 26th ranked defense in the league.

to see if we can win 3 home games in a row since 2009.

    PROTECT DA HOUZ!

The sad part is, he's probably capable of that. The sadder part is he'll still get lambasted for the INT - see Tony Romo!

well especially if it's a pick six. - see matt schaub. (what's happened to him? he looks like weeden on a good team).

Weeden on a good team? Andy Dalton? Matt Ryan? There are any number of QBs holding their team back to some degree.
