The coaching staff certainly looked a lot better with a different QB.

    So did the offensive line.

I'm not trying to make excuses because the whole team and coaches recieve an F for today but...

I don't think it's that the coaching staff is not good. I think that Weeden can only do so much from this playbook.

I've heard more than a couple times that this offense is dumbed down for Weeden. I mean, did it not look like the offense opened up more and different plays were run when Hoyer was the starter? It did to me. I don't think it is a stretch to say that many halftime adjustments Norv and Chud want to do may not be possible due to Weeden's comprehension of the offense.

The win / loss column looks a lot better with a different QB too.

Everything looks a lot better with a different QB.

It's funny, normally teams have to gameplan for the best player they're playing against that week.

We have to gameplan for our own QB.

I guess that makes sense though, because Weeden has been the MVP for every team he's played against.

I thought we made some good adjustments in the first half. Something changed from being down 7 to running off 17 unanswered.

At the half we really had no adjustments to make. We clicked right on up to the half.

Detroit clearly adjusted at the half.

Why we did not (or were unable to) adjust again before they ran off 17 unanswered, I do not know.

But it seems to me we did finally adjust.

We were in fact moving the ball when Wheezy went all Rugby on us...

lol at you thinking it was the coaches fault who aren't even on the field. It was the defense and weeden. Get some knwledge in your head, boy.

Yeah. Coaches have absolutely no influence whatsoever on the game. I don't even understand why they're included.

I'm glad this dumbass is back.

do the players also want the coaches to come back to their homes and coach them on how to wipe their asses after they take a shit? PLAYERS PLAY THE GAME ON THE FIELD. If a guy is outof position, THAT IS ON THE PLAYER. If a qb underarms a pass, THAT'S ON THE PLAYER--You think coaches coach that garbage?

You're an idiot and a clueless idiot at that as to how the game is played.

Does Turner or Horton get down to the locker room at half time?
