Did the Greg Little No call get too little attention?
-
I haven't seen it but the audio I had made it sound like it was easily a missed called. From what I understand Chud threw the challenge flag instantly after the play and the announcer said something like 'I could see this being overturned'.
-
it was a pathetic call. Not sure if they didn't have a better angle that would qualify it as "undisputable", because the only angle they showed us wasnt the best. Still, was obvious both feet were inbounds. That, coupled with Groves penalty were an abomination.
No faith Weetard would've capitalized if they didn't happen, but still..
-
The angle was bad and there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it. I saw them break it down on NFL network and the replay ref made the right call.
-
I read the same thing. According to the former head of officials Mike Perrera on twitter he said it should be overturned on first viewing then said that it looked like his hand hit out of bounds before the 2nd foot game down. Basically there wasn't enough evidence to overturn.
-
Mike Pereira rarely disagrees with the call.
He's still employed by the NFL, through the NFL Network, and disagreeing with NFL officials on live television is somewhat of a no-no.

I think I saw that replay and figured there was no way his hand was out before some other part of his body. poor judgement i think but i wish i could verify with a replay

He's employed by FOX actually and he quite often disagrees with the calls on the field.

No. You're wrong. It was obvious it was the wrong call. Virtually indisputable from that angle, def indisputable if you look at it from the endzone angle.

This call was blown period. There is no question on replay that he was in and the catch was good. Both feet touched inside the white line before any part of his body was down. This and the terrible PI calls really make it look like someone was protecting the Vegas line
-
The 1st thing that came to my mind about the refs and the bad calls, was that Goodell isn't ready for the Browns to be a top NFL team and he had his refs make sure the Browns were as handicapped as possible. I know it sounds conspiracy theory-ish, but its what first popped into my mind. That P.I. call against joe has gotta be one of the worst calls I've ever seen and it gave em 7.

I took 2 things from that play; once again Brandy threw inaccurately, and damn, Greg can freakin' jump!
-
Honestly one of the worst blown calls I can remember. With all the cameras there's no way they didn't have all the angles. Screw job.

My fault. Me was employed by the NFL up until last year, even after he left the NFL network.
And I'm not going to do the math, because I don't care, but up until this season he had reportedly only disagreed with less than 20% of the calls he was asked about.
I'm sure you can find the article, if you want. I'll look around, I know it was on Twitter.

The Little out of bounds was just one of many bad calls by that officiating crew, and not close to the worst. Phantom PI on Haden- basically gave the Lions a gift TD (the Saints Pats game the refs allowed 10X more contact, with no calls). We get a 15 yarder for tackling Stafford too hard, but... hmmm I won't buy the conspiracy theory,, but Suh gets fined for a hit on Weeden, and no call?
-
Think they still remember this?
-
This call was just as bad as the hit on China Doll Stafford when he was slow to get up. I was gonna flip something. I was pissed
-
Don't know if it means anything but Greg Little said no doubt he was in on that catch, per Mary Kay

Where's the other angles? Anyone found a video of it?
I've only seen the far away sideline one. And from that angle only, you can't over turn it.
