i welcome LONB BEACH CALI mike and his comments.

i think for all this hype about having a fantastical coaching staff they have sucked balls (on the most part except horton) and haven't done shit to make this team better until they rolled the dice on hoyer, who nobody else in the league in their right minds would never have done.

i liked the mingo pick but other than that (even in FA) they have sucked donkey balls.

and chud and norv better get their heads out of their asses when giving their halftime speeches cuz haven't we been winning at halftime in every fucking game we lost and come out and shit a soft server chocolate smoothie on the 50 yard line coming out for the third quarter?

chud looks like a dude i know that falls aslep at the bar every night.

wake up and watch some game film you fat hee haw lookin fool.

as fans we've been played for so long its hard not to think were gonna get played again by the new regime.

first impressions this time around are not conclusive enough to run them out of town.........yet 3-3 1 game out.

if we get to 3-5 look for more moves by the trading deadline.

    browns win by 10 today!!

I can't say they are bad.....yet. But this time I am not excited about the new FO. When we got Savage. I was excited. When we got Holmgren, I was excited. I was even excited when we got Butch. But I can not get excited anymore. I will just wait and see.

i thought butch davis was a hell of a coach. but he couldn't build a team for shit. couch might have been a hall of famer if he had an offensive line and some more weapons besides KJ.

savage i didn't know too much about before the hiring, so i, (like you) waited and saw that disaster. BUT the holmgren hire I knew from the beginning was going to be a shit show even though everyone proclaimed him the next football messiah. i try not to use the word 'hate' anymore trying to be a 'nice' person BUT that is one FAT FUCKING BASTARD that i would seriously walk up to and break his nose.

maybe he can ride his golf cart to the emergency room.

chud is starting to look more and more like some jack ass foll from hee haw that get's hit in the ass with the wooden fence after telling some dry joke.

If Chud is smart, he will never ever empty the backfield again as long as Weeden is our QB. It invites the opponent to blitz, playing right into Weeden's weakness of not handling any pressure.

That would be on Norv Turner. He calls the plays on game day

Giving up on the FO and the coaches already? I thought it took at least two years before fans did that.

It only took 1 year for Holmgren and about 2 games for Shurmer

nope not giving up on anything. just hoping to see improvement week to week.

the GLARING fact is that we have led all of these games going into the locker room at halftime.

so you tell me (not trying to be a smartass) whose blame do you put that on? the players? or the coaches, that we've lost half of those games games coming out in the 3rd quarter and laying a nice fat frothy turd on the fifty in front of the home fans?

You must be a new browns fan. It only takes between 2 - 4 games before the fans start calling for the coach, fo, and players heads. That's been situation normal for the browns for 10 years.

It's equally on both. I think Norv gets conservative but the offensive players, namely the QBs (both Hoyer and Weeds looked bad coming into the 3rd quarter), look flat. This in turn doesn't help the D because you put them out there at least 3 times in the 3rd quarter alone. The offense needs to sustain drives coming out of halftime. Most teams in the NFL will be able to make a comeback if your offense can't at least put some points on the board in the second half.

Granted the D did play their worst game of the year last week. No pressure on the QB, gave up 20+ points in the second half but I think the bigger problem has been the offense.

The offense does not execute well in the second half. In turn that is also one of the big problems with Weeds, his inconsistancies. He will look average to good in the first half and then lays a giant egg in the second.

I do think that Weed's grasp of the offense holds back the playcalling, though Norv does seem to get inconsistant in the second half when we have the lead.

So it's 50/50 down the middle. The offensive playcalling gets too conservative and the running game is non-existant, while the players also come out flat.

Nah, not new. I just would think this current group would get a little more leeway based on their track records. I know Lombardi gets a lot of hate but I feel the FO has been pretty solid thus far and this team really looks like a good QB away from being playoff contenders.

That is our MO. I like how they tried to sneak lombardi as our GM. What was his title in the offseason?

LoL at this whole FO sucks thread.

so from what I gather from LBC is that he is butt hurt because this FO hasnt made the predictable knee jerk reaction of qb by committee. We know weeds isnt the answer, But they know that all of the currently unemployed qb's are'nt the answer either.

Bringing in a new qb bi-weekly does nothing but create negativity in the locker room and bad press for the city and organization.

on nfl network or hbo sports (i forget which one ) but he sucked balls doing that as well.

    fucking guido.

not butt hurt. just sore. not really a knee jerk reaction. just a move to correct either the QB situation or adjust it so a lab monkey can run the offense and not flick the ball like a piece of poo.

i don't know if he's saying that at all, and if he is i'll disagree with him on that point that you specifically made.

my take on this rant is a VERY VERY valid point:

this dream team of a coaching staff is falling far short of that title. leading EVERY FUCKING GAME at halftime and lose 50% of them do to lack of ingenuity in the play calling, making the appropriate adjustments and just plain lack of intensity. like they haven't trained this team to play a whole 60 mins. they (the team) has looked great from 0.0 on the clock to 30.0 on the clock. but after that it looks as though someone slipped some vicodins in their gatorade.

yo, check out phil taylor after the half. he keeps scratching his elbows and shit.

FO has my support. Dumping TRich for a first rounder was masterful in my opionion

BTW, it would take some time for me to get used to 10:00am kickoffs on Sundays in cali. Do the sports bars open that early or do you have to get your own?

They open early. 9 am for football. I have been getting NFL ticket for years now. only way to watch the browns. Sports bars here just show the bandwagon team of the season on the main tv. the browns are usually on the smaller tv in the corner of the bar. Half time is usually at 11am makes it hard to start having beer that early. Weeden helps that though.
