Chiefs - are they really a 7-0 team?

  • KC is very much legit. We're gonna get destroyed. Lose by 14+

@dhitter - Cameron has had his production drop his Hoyer went down.

  • It would be GREAT to see Browns fans at the game on Sunday! We are not west coasters guys. Stop by any tailgate and you will get treated well. KC and Cleveland have been through SO much of the same stuff. Hell I would make the first drink for a Browns fan.

  • In regards to the sack topic.

Watched a vid on it about Sutton's attack scheme. He likes to wait one second before releasing his LBs. It seems to confus the OL and creates a little hole to shoot through.

    Chiefs fan here.

I want to say that KC fans have a lot of respect for you guys. We have so much in common in way of NFL teams. Last year we were in the same boat you are in now. Something I have noticed with most Cleveland fans is you guys are humble and polite. I guess its just us midwest states maybe, but alas.

I may be wrong, so someone correct me, but I think Weeden would've been sacked more than Campbell may get hit. Isn't Campbell a mobile guy or do I have that wrong?

I also agree, as stated earlier, that you and the Titans are probably the best defenses we have faced thus far. Rebuilding years suck. I really understand. I bought two years of season tickets of what, a 4-12 and 2-14 season... Ugh..

You guys are a loyal fan base. As is KC. You're time is coming.

Well, we hope our time is coming this weekend. 🙂 Our losses have been at the hands of a quarterback who should never have been drafted in the first round. Weeden was to put it bluntly Gawdawful, and it was about damn time Chud saw the light and benched his sorry ass. The worrisome part is in the last couple weeks our front 7 has failed to generate an effective pass rush. Joe Haden will shut down anyone you put in front of him- if the guy doesn't make the Pro Bowl this year, there should be an investigation. Our run D has been pretty good- but you have a good runner in Charles- we'll see what happens there.

Don't know if Campbell is more mobile than Weeden, but he has 10 times the pocket awareness from what I've seen on of the tapes, and can actually throw an accurate pass with pressure in his face- a department that Weedster was sorely lacking in. Gordon will be a good test for your secondary- us Browns fans will be sorely pissed if the FO trades him away due to drug concerns. Campbell is a TE you're going to have to pay attention to. We're lacking in the run department- McGahee was benched last year on a lot of fantasy teams- for good reason, although our FO is looking like geniuses for dumping Richardson- he's done nothing to date in Indy. .

BTW, love you guys otherwise, KC is a great town with great fans, Arrowhead is a great venue- and I'm making the trip over there to take in the game. With We-done on the bench, I've raised my expectations from no hope to faint hope. Here's to a good game- with no injuries on either team.

The Browns are pretty much where you guys were last year- a quarterback short.

Parking lot F23 buddy. Stop by for ribs , brisket, and a drink. I will look for a browns fan.

Excellent point. Hoyer certainly looked the part. Injuries are a mutha. Another way the Chiefs and Browns are similar...Chiefs were decimated early in the season 2 years ago with back to back to back torn ACLs.

CLE's D will keep Game Manager Smith from running up the score. It will probably be a 17-6 win for KC.

That's partly why I'm driving over for the game- you guys have one great tailgate experience. Some of the Browns tailgate spots can be sort of rough on opposing fans, but it's usually no more than name calling. I stopped by our Muni Lot before the Lions game- and it was a pretty crazy scene.

Excepting your boat includes a SB ring... Bastage... 🙂

... even Joe Thomas can't block 3 guys at once...

    Yup... two's the limit...

How is your other tackle? Solid?

Schwartz... he has a bit of a problem handling speed rushers. And we don't seem to chip as much as we should to help him.

Make me wish I was there... Maybe next time when we're a little more competitive?

  • KC, MS or KC,KA?

on one side you got a serious army engineer school (ft. riley included), an army basic training school (ft. leonard wood) along with a fed pen.

on the other side of the river it's just meth heads and tourists that like to look at a giant bent thing while hearing gunfire in the background..

  • Browns need to draft high and Chiefs need to keep winning to play in Arrowhead through the playoffs. I'll say it: It's best for everybody if the Chiefs win. This town deserves it. Our turn is next year.

As for living in KC? I could go on and on, the good and the bad. Weather extremes are crazy (harsh winter, unbearably humid summers), people can be just a little clannish (the show me state) and take to strangers a little slower than East or West... but it's a very easy city to live in and has an almost Southern slow-motion vibe I do like a lot. Huge portion of the population is from small towns in Kansas or Missouri.

Downsides again: Third most segregated city because of suburban sprawl. Most highways per person in the US, allows the white folk to keep moving further and further out into Johnson County Kansas.

Upside: Incredible food. The righteously famous Bryant's BBQ, the triple BLT at the Peanut, Jalapeno's Mexican, anything on the Plaza (which I love)... too much to list. All hugely fattening. Town really loves its sports, wish the Royals had money. And I'm very happy for Kansas Citians about the Chiefs.

    Boooo.

We don't need to draft high, we need to draft well.

We have two first rounders for chrissake.

    Eff the Chiefs.

You are surrounded by fat people in red yelling "whooo hoo" and it is getting to you.

    Zombo

  • 3-4 with two 1st rounders and now you want to throw in the towel? C'mon man!

Chiefs being undefeated feels weird. Im gonna have to see it to believe it

Tough- I drove more hours than you flew- and I still hope to meet up with your elusive ass sometine either Saturday or Sunday. If you're in club that may present a problem during the game as I'm slumming it in section 103.Nice job on I-270 funneling 4 lanes of traffic down into one over the Mississippi- took me 90 minutes to drive 6 miles. I didn't come here from Ohio to watch a loss (even though that's probable.)

Ya don't want to be all over Sports Center after the big upset? Last undefeated team goes down.

Yup, KC is a neat town. Been to Arthur Bryant's- the original- (best ribs reportedly in the country- there's autographs of presidents on the wall- um the neighborhood is not exactly nice though.) On a recomendation from Paul's wife we're doing Gates after the game. Lydia's Saturday night.

  • They are 7-0, so yes they are.
