Draft time, trade time, whatever...does it really matter? The media has, or SHOULD have, ZERO credibility! We have (finally) an honest front office that won't randomly say "definitely" or "definitely not" to vague questions posed by the media. As a result, we get RUMORS along with players & fans who actually BUY into what the media prints and/or reports & it's mostly headlines & bullshit. There are media members who are honest & straight forward & they should be MOST upset by all the inaccurate reporting out there.

I think it's high time we, as Fans, started saying, "SCREW the media, we'll believe it when we SEE it!"

Sorry for ranting, but I am NOT a fan of gossip.

Josh Gordon, you owe Coach Chud & his Team a big "Thank you" for being upfront & truthful with you.

Perhaps you are right but most of us will never know. Remember there is a difference between actively shopping him and answering the phone to field inquiries. I wouldn't want them to trade him but they would be extremely remiss to not field and evaluate any offers for Gordon or otherwise.

I don't agree that the Browns were shopping him. They repeatedly said they were not. I believe they received several offers for him ("high picks and players") but nothing that made sense (I'd probably take a first and Bernard Pierce, thanks much).

I'm glad we kept him. He may not even be on the cusp of a one-year suspension after all.

and so much of it is smoke and cowpie. Rumors about Gordon, and Cameron,

did those players no favors, and were worthless. There weren't any rumors about

a TR deal, then that deal happened. "Much ado about nothing". "Egg on faces of rumor mongerers.

Har, har. Scheffter, or no one else is talking about what "active shopping" actually entailed. Let me give you a couple extreme examples. Banner calls up the Colts- "hey we heard you want a wr now that Reggie Wayne is hurt. Trade ya Gordon for Andrew Luck?" Click. Banner calls up the Packers "hey, heard Jermicael Finley is out for a while, trade you Cameron for Aaron Rodgers." Click. So the douche bag reports "Browns actively shopping Gordon and Cameron."

Scheffter finally admitted yesterday the "active shopping" was at a price so high, no sane GM was going to bite. Hershell Walker type deal.

we dont need to trade anyone. we have our core: Cameron, Gordon is fine to build around. Pick up a QB, another WR, RB, CB and G and we are set.

There was even that dipshit on here last offseason that kept posting false stories about who the browns hired as their coach. What a homo.
