On the same day the Gamecocks trounce Clastal Carolina, the Florida Gators lose to FCS Georgia Southern 26-20.

What makes the win even more special?

Georgia Southern finished the game with a win despite not completing a single pass. The QB went 0-3 through the air, yet had 15 rushing attempts for over 100 yards and 2 TD's. Ga. Southern relied on a 10-headed rushing attack, racking up over 400 yards on 50+ carries with an entire stable of ball carriers.

And as if that wasn't enough, the Gators shelled out $555,000 dollars to have Ga. Southern come to Gainesville for a "tune-up game".

And people think the SEC is all that. They play the same cream puffs as does every other conference.

This was posted before, but it is worth a look

looks like the author overlooked the fact that the Big East football conference dissolved in 2013 to become The American Athletic Conference. just saying

I hope Ballpeen (Gator Alum & season ticket holder) didn't shoot himself in the parking lot after this one.

Ranks up there with Appalachian State taking down Michigan. To be fair, Florida is having a major down year.

all these teams play "Gimme" games. and usually for a big pay day for the smaller school. And sometimes these big schools lose.

people say Ohio State plays a "weaker" schedule, when EVERY other school does the SAME thing.

After reviewing, OSU has a tougher SOS than Bama.

I could care less about SOS. The bottom of the big ten is no worse or no better then the bottom of the SEC, or ACC, And the top of each conference is the same. 1 undefeated team, 1 team with 1 loss, and 2-3 teams with 2 losses.

The only way Ohio State makes the title game is if Ala or FSU loses. PERIOD. Baylor is done, Stanford is done

I still think one or both ALA, FSU will lose ALA has Aub and the SEC champ game, and FSU's QB is about to be indicted on rape charges

Oh yes, how could I forget! Only 3 undefeated major schools now!

To be fair? Haha...hell with "fairness" when these folks get pumped up by Mark May & Tim Brando. Even Desmond Howard was hating on the Buckeyes yesterday on GameDay.

These SEC fans overlook they are nothing but a regional conference, never traveling north of Kentucky or west of Arkansas. Oops, maybe the go to a bowl game in Pasadena or Glendale, my bad 🙂

You caring less about SOS doesn't make it any less important. OSU has a tougher SOS than Bama and leads them in nearly every statistical category, yet is ranked behind them. It's SEC bias.

FSU deserves to be the true number one, OSU second, Bama third. Bama gets the benefit of the doubt because of their history, which has absolutely zero effect on the team they have this year.
