These are the players the Patriots drafted in the 2000 drafte BEFORE they selected Tom Brady. None of these guys had much more than cup of coffee careers. So, yea, they were smart for taking Brady in the 6th round. Pure dumb ass lucky is what they were.

William Nickerson was the founder of.......The Gillete Razor Company. He was long gone before the Gillette Razor company had any affiliation with the Patriots stadium or the Patriots....once owned by the guy that owned Remington razors.

They played in Fenway Park, Harvard Stadium, and Alumni Stadium on the campus of Boston College. So, the Pats ran the gamut of all things Boston stadia. Nickerson Field had actually previously been called Braves Field where the Boston Braves played. Of course they played on the Red Sox field at Fenway, and the campuses of Boston U, Boston College and Harvard.
Finally, they had to go practically to Providence to get their own stadium. (Foxboro is actually closer to downtown Providence than it is to downtown Boston)

St. Louis. The Pats owner, like so many of the greedmeisters that are NFL owners also used the treat of moving to try to get a new stadium. After the Cardinals left for AZ, they used St. Louis as leverage to get new stadium funding.

Andre Tippet, John Hanna, Mike Haynes, and Nick Buonticonti. While Haynes made more of a name for himself as Lester Hayes's running partner in Oakland, he spent more of his career in NE. Same with Buonticonti is probably more well known as a Dolphin, but also spent more time with the Pats.

1. the Browns defeat of the Patriots by 19-11 in 2000 when Doug Pederson was the Browns starting QB. It was won on 4 Phil Dawson FGs and a Pederson pass to Aaron Shea.
2. The Browns ass kicking of the Pats in 2010.

I was at the 2000 game as well. The last win I had seen in person before the Bengals game this year.
