Best at crying to the refs especially.

I think we can all agree that Peyton, Rodgers and Brees are now superior to him. I've compiled some extensive stats that make arguments for slightly less Herculean QBs:

I wouldn't agree to that in a million years - Tom Brady is the BEST QB TO HAVE EVER PLAYED THE GAME.

  • Where does he rank? When I opened this, I thought you meant ALL-TIME... disappointing

I do NOT agree that Rogers, Manning, or anybody has passed him up, for all the reasons said above... He's still the best, not in "stat central" but on-the-field where it counts...

  • LOL Rodgers hasn't even played a full game since October.

  • I love Browns fans 😁

Anyway, since the Steelers game the Patriots have the #1 offense in the league and half their receivers are rookies.

Brady should be getting discussed for MVP if the award was given out for actually being the MVP and not having the best stats.

I love how Brady haters hang around like vultures just waiting for his stats to dip so they can dump all over him and try to convince others he sucks. The last time the Brady haters really came out in droves was 2011 after their back to back losses in week 8. He then went on to his 5th Superbowl. Keep telling yourself he sucks. You're only depriving yourself of seeing the Joe Montana of your time.

Awesome to see these replies and see it doesn't work.

  • I think we can all agree that Peyton, Rodgers and Brees are now superior to him. I've compiled some extensive stats that make arguments for slightly less Herculean QBs:

    Brady: 3,267 yd, 19 TD, 10 TO, 60.7%, 89.2 QBR, 1 TD pass per 172 yd

    Stafford: 3,825 yd, 27 TD, 17 TO, 59.2%, 89.6 QBR, 1 TD pass per 142 yd

    Newton: 2,616 yd, 19 TD, 12 TO, 61.7%, 88.1 QBR, 447 rush yd, 6 rush TD, 1 TD pass per 138 yd

    Wilson: 2,672 yd, 22 TD, 11 TO, 64.9%, 108.5 QBR, 456 rush yd, 1 rush TD, 1 TD pass per 121 yd

    Keep in Mind:

Stafford only has 1 reliable receiver, yet he's thrown for 558 more yd, the equivalent of almost 2 extra games.

Newton likewise only has 1 trusty receiver: a TE. Newton has a better completion % and an equal number of TD passes as Brady, despite throwing 7.62% less than Brady. CAR is 30th in passing play percentage. He also contributes a lot to his team through his rushing game.

Wilson has a very ragtag receiving corps and throws the ball less than any other QB in the league. Despite this, he has 3 more TD passes and a QBR 19.3 pt higher than Brady. He also provides a rushing boost.

I do NOT agree that anyone you mentioned is superior to him. Manning (and possibly Brees) can be considered his peers but in the end Tom Brady will stand head and shoulders above both of them in Canton and in the collective memory of the people

  • Manning is a better QB. Brady played for better teams.

  • Brady is no doubt a very good, hall of fame bound qb but hes also a product of that system. They continuously plug and play in new england and a lot of that has to do with his offensive line. Hes terrible under pressure and the times when brady has lost the big games its been because he was feeling the heat all game long. Get him rattled and he folds, the hard part is getting the guy. I also think this thread is ridiculous. Stats dont mean dick if you arent winning, the nfl isnt fantasy football.

Rodgers has had one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL for years. He gets hit like a pinata in the pocket. Yet, he still leads his team to victory, time and again. Look how far GB has plummeted without him.

  • Saying Tom Brady is a system QB is moronic. He's not RGIII, he ain't running an option offense. His system is no different that Peyton Manning's. He's a pocket passer that's great because of his preparation and and his desire to make himself and everybody around him better every practice..

Product of the system? How many different offensive coordinators has he had? Good OL and bad OL. Good receivers and bad receivers. Good running backs and bad running backs. conservative play calling and aggressive play calling.

Me thinks there is sand in thy vagina.

Even in his worst season there's no one Manning or otherwise I'd rather have on the field. It's just what it is.

You don't think, all things equal, that Manning is better?

Tom played for one of the best Head Coaches ever, and played on better teams.

Manning was basically the whole Colts offense. Tom went down, and Cassel still took the team to the playoffs.

The Patriots won those superbowls, not Tom Brady and friends. And they had a little help from spygate tbh.

  • No I don't think manning is better. Did you see their head to head this year?

A lot of that was just DEN's shitty defense, honestly. They got annihilated in the 2nd half/OT.

Yeah, Irsay even admitted that Peyton would've won more SBs if he had brought in better talent.

Tom Brady owns Manning 10-4 in head to head appearances, has 3 more Superbowl appearances, two more Superbowl rings, and holds the record for most post season wins of all time.

All of this garbage you bring up is not going to last after they both retire. Whether you like it or not, Brady is going to be remembered as the superior quarterback.

Everything the Manning apologists cite as examples of him being better are all the same things people said about Marino, right up until the day he retired.

    How long did it last?

    Answer: It didn't.

Because whether you like it or hate it, your feeble arguments for Manning over Brady will not hold up for future generations of fans that aren't emotionally invested in picking sides.

Sorry but you lose. It's inevitable. Time will erode Peyton's media driven place in the GOAT conversation, like it did with Marino and Dan Fouts. Once they retire, it's over.

P.S. Peyton Manning's Colts teams were STACKED with talent. It was just dispersed in different areas of the teams. If Peyton didn't fold like a wet paper bag when it mattered most, history might of recorded HIM as having the superior team. The only reason you say it is the opposite is because BRADY wins and Peyton loses.
