Terrible. But is also partly the o line's fault. O line needs to be addressed either in FA or the draft. Same with the FB position. No more of this FB's don't matter bullshit, they do. If we can get Hyde in the draft than get a FB and we're done. Between Hyde and Lewis we have some good talent and if they don't get it done than it has to be on the O line.
Browns Pass Rush: Where you at?
Indefensible. Our most dynamic pass rusher is a 240lb noop who you can't leave in there for extended playing time because he lets TE's seal him to the inside on plays where the secondary comes up to the fill the middle. That can never ever ever happen because that's when runs bounce for 40+ yds. Our other guys were terrible at pass rushing this year. Our 8m guy from Blt has 2.5 sacks this season. and at least one of those, if not 2, were from the other side chasing the qb into his arms. I don't yet know if the lack of sacks from both sides is from them not getting home in time or the secondary is just allowing the qb's to get rid of the ball way too quick for any pass rush in the league to get there. This is a possibility which is why I'm not yet ready to throw our OLB'ers under the bus. I do however notice some flaws in krugers rush which he needs to fix by next season or i'm done with him. No reason a 6'4 270lb guy's edge rush is so devoid of leverage the tackles need just lean on him to sail him past the edge. Clay Matthews ain't yoked like Kruger but he digs in on the edge and gets there.

Addressed in FA or a late project pick in the draft. If Gordon had a full year with Hoyer his stats might be just silly.

Stick with Travis next year but tell him spin moves while guys are diving at your knees at full gallop isn't the best call. He got cute and paid for it.

This year? With the Chiefs, Broncos, Patriots, Colts? They might beat one of those teams but not twice. Heck they might have to play the Bengals in the first round which will be all they can handle.
